Possibly one of the best Indians we have ever had. Found the place by accident. Food was excellent served in a nice atmosphere. The place was pretty full with lots of orders for take-outs being picked up. This did affect service a little but not really in a bad way, somehow felt a little more relaxed because of! Staff were friendly (and run off their feet) and the toilets clean. Will go back again. Book a slot as it was busy oh and its bring your own booze

I ordered takeaway and collected to receive the 30% off discount. The gentleman who served me was quick to fix the problem when I pointed out the 30% had not been taken off the total bill. The food is good and tasty. I've ordered both takeaway and eat-in before. The staff are friendly. This time, I ordered chicken biryani, mixed tandoori, and paneer tikka balti, plus lemon pilaf and naan. I would recommend.

I have been to the Bano for about 22yrs. I have celebrated at the Bano my 40th 50th and now my 60th birthday, and hopefully many more birthdays. Mia and the staff always greet you with a smile and the service is fab. The food is delicious and alter their dishes to suit your taste buds if needed. What more could you want!

Must say this place is a find. Went out for meal as it was a nice evening and didn’t fancy a takeaway , thought we would try a local place and chose Rubery for a change. the nice weather had brought out the crowds and the area was buzzing with people sitting outside enjoying food and drinks but we tried here after several good reports from family and friends.

Good choice . Extremely attentive staff. Very good tasty food served HOT! Very nice starters, simple side salad, with good selection side sauces.

Mains were likewise served hot and very tasty indeed. I had the Balti chicken mushroom as I’m not a fan of too spicy a meal, and I always have a bowl of plain rice to calm it down, but this serving was extremely tasty with each mouth full a real pleasure.

Had to slow myself down, it was so nice.

Even mopped up me dish with me mates Nann Bread 🤭

Excellent food . They don’t have a licence but people brought their own drinks in . We just had tap water served with a slice of lime, nice touch.

Top notch We...

Lovely looking place, comfortable and clean.

The food was OK, not the best I have had but at the same time did not feel like I totally wasted my money.

We went as a party of 15 so the below will give you some context.

The staff were all over the place, some could not answer smoke questions about the food or ingredients.

It was frustrating when parts of our meal was brought out and then had to sit and wait for plates, also the kids meals were sent out last with a long delay, this is not good, I always feel children should be served first.

They did get the order wrong 3 times, each time telling them what we ordered they took it away and brought out something else, still not what we ordered.

Considering there is a lot of competition nearby and some are much better, I would...

I just had an incredible meal that I can't stop raving about! I apologize for not snapping any pictures, but the atmosphere was buzzing, which is always a good sign. To start, we were treated to popadoms and an array of dips, including a delightful lime-infused yoghurt dip that had such an amazing depth of flavour. For starters, I indulged in the king prawn puri, which was a perfect way to kick off the experience!

For the main course, I let the staff surprise me, and they recommended the Lamb Zorika. Wow! This dish featured perfectly hand-pulled lamb mixed with onions, garlic, and a fresh squeeze of lemon on top. It was all cooked in the chef’s signature blend of sauces and served sizzling in a skillet. The flavours were out of this...
