Greggs has quickly become my go-to spot for a quick and satisfying lunch, and their pies—especially the steak bake—are nothing short of fantastic. Entered the store at 14:05, it closes at 16;00 but there is a paper sellotaped to the door advising they close at 15:00. I buy a sandwich and would like it heated up. Only they won't do it because they have already turned off the heater. Despite the fact there is a queue and it is still busy.

Previously a man in the queue ordered "all of the sausage rolls". There is a queue going out of the door and dozens of this product. Doesn't ask if anyone else wanted one, just sold the lot. I don't blame the customer, you can ask for what you want, of course. But as a business, not having the awareness that this is why some of these people are here? Pathetic.

So, can't recommend an establishment that shuts early and refuses key elements of service up to twos hour prior to the advertised closing time and sells their entire current stock...

I heard Piers Morgan was visiting somewhere locally. So I headed to the local Gregg's to stock up on Vegan Sausage rolls.

Once I'd passed some young yoot who was chained up outside with pictures of animals being put in trailers. His pal was holding a sign about being Vegan and proud.

Luckily I was in luck. There were plenty of vegan sausage rolls and the things that everyone seems to order were quite low. So I waited for a proper sausage roll to keep me going and quickly bagged up the 15 vegan rolls.

I thanked the staff quickly as the service was quick and professional.

The proper sausage roll was bang on too.

I'd got in my car and headed over to the next town ready for Piers to arrive. However I had a change in heart and decided to free the vegan rolls. They're now roaming in a field freely...
