We went walking over clent just after Christmas(27/12/18), it was a surprise to see so many other nature lovers had the same idea, after a lengthy walk, we thought we would have a rest and a well deserved drink then carry on with our walk. The terrace was full of people sitting enjoying coffee, and drinks, so it was not a problem to find seating inside, but the ambience was so nice inside that it didn't matter that we could not find space outside, the restaurant was tastefully laid out, log burner, comfy chairs, and patio glass so you could look out, there was one member of staff on, which I imagine was quite busy for him, but he took it all in his stride, and was very accommodating, we had a selection of tapas 3 4 10, which was delivered promptly and steaming hot, we spent around an hour here, but vouched to come back and stay there all day as it was so relaxing, thank you for a pleasant experience.

45 minutes from sitting down until we got our drinks. 2 of the 4 drinks I got myself off the counter because they were just sitting there. It was busy but not rammed. There was around 10 tables. I've seen busier places with quicker service so I don't know if they're just not used to being so busy and we're overwhelmed but it was just messy. A couple opposite us waited just as long without a drink. The chef was serving food. The waiter was cleaning tables, taking orders behind the till and at tables. It was like everyone was doing different roles and it seemed all over the place. From entering to the food coming it was around 1 hour and 15 minutes and it was okish. Nothing special The mini breakfast for kids is shocking haa. Look at the photo I've attached and it was £7!!!! £2.50 for a cup of tea. The place is expensive and the wait time was a joke. Dont know if I'd come back.

Came here after a walk today at Clent hills. Pros : - cute little place and hidden out of the way so not too busy - good atmosphere - waitress who served us was lovely and welcoming - we had the milkshakes - chocolate was very nice, vanilla was just ok but not as nice as the chocolate - also ordered flapjacks - these were very nice - lovely decor and good service Cons: - the vanilla milkshake was just ok so quite expensive at Ā£5 each milkshake - not all of the items were in stock Overall, a really cute little place to eat after exploring Clent hills. We would come back here again ā˜ŗļø

Dined at the tour stones in the past and have always loved their food and atmosphere but sadly I won’t be returning following last nights visit. The atmosphere was non existent, I think only three other tables were occupied. The restaurant was cold. Storage heaters were plugged in but sadly weren’t big enough to give off the amount of heat needed for the size of the space. The waitresses we are quite incompetent not knowing the menu. Also one kept looking over at our table making my friend feel quite uncomfortable at times with the look she was giving. The girl making the drinks behind the bar had a real attitude. I think she must think there is a screen between the bar and the public and we couldn’t hear her comments or see her. There was only one person who seemed to know what they were doing and that was the waiter who was running the whole thing. He was lovely, very attentive and polite. I honestly don’t know how he can work with the other staff there the way they were. For that I have given him a star making my review two stars and not one. Food wise I have always loved it here as have my other six friends who also dined last night. But the food last night was just not up to the standard it has been previously. The chicken tarrine was bland and freezing cold like it had just been defrosted. Two of us had this and said how disappointing it was. The cod with crayfish sauce I can honestly say was probably the worst meal I’ve ever had out. Two of the smallest pieces of sliced potato quite heavily burnt on the corners, some green beans and a piece of cod which was not seasoned with a sauce which was completely see-through to the bottom of my dish which resembled water with no taste. Basically my meal was swimming in a bowl of boiled water- quite disgusting! I was not the only one to have this at the table and my friend was also very disappointed and said it was ā€˜tasteless’. When it came to the puddings the waitress didn’t know what was in what, no knowledge at all of the puddings and what she did come back and tell us was wrong after we’d ordered. My friend had the Christmas pudding and her words were ā€˜it is lukewarm at best’. All in all a very very disappointing trip to the Four Stones on many levels. I can completely see why this venue was so empty as I’m sure not many people would return again if they have experienced what we did last night. Again, thank you to the waiter. He made our night bearable with this smile at all times, politeness and good manners. Four Stones, please up your game and get this lovely, local restaurant back up...

I'd previously left 5 stars, 11 months ago. What a change, 1 star is being fair now. New chef and I'd heard new owners or new management. No manager on site, when we visited though. Booked a week in advance for anniversary meal with dietary requirements explained, had to 're book 3 times due system errors and all dietary requirements lost unbeknown to us (Vegans). We were a little perturbed but had been offered a choice of one starter & 2 mains, it seems the chefs whole repertoire must contain meat or cheese. We enquired with the supervisor as to why there were less choices than previous visits (which were not preplanned) and why we weren't told in advance of that situation. The supervisor was abrupt bordering on challenging and very disinterested, continually talking over us, it made the issue much worse. The starter was nice but the main poor, chilli pasta which smelt of encona chilli sauce and was vindaloo hot, the pasta was soggy and the whole thing must have been 2 minutes work. The couple next to us were also complaining of poor quality tough steak. The supervisor was asking other tables if everything was Ok, it seems "ok"was their current goal. In reality "ok" was a distant aspiration. Other people we know (not vegan) say they've had equally poor experiences and no longer...

Upon arriving at Four Stones Coffee and Brunch, one is immediately struck by the vibrant atmosphere of the area. It’s a popular spot for a morning stroll, which explains the challenging parking situation. However, this minor inconvenience is hardly the fault of the establishment. The service at Four Stones, while not exceptional, is understandable given the bustling nature of the place. On our visit, the wait for our breakfast—a total of three menu items plus a brunch special of honey mustard chicken thighs with potatoes and peas with spinach—exceeded an hour. The dish was satisfactory, though perhaps not quite worth the lengthy wait. A pleasant surprise was my wife’s enjoyment of her meal, which speaks volumes about the quality of the food when the kitchen hits its stride. We did experience a small mix-up with an unordered item appearing at our table, but it was quickly resolved without any fuss or additional charge. Despite these hiccups, Four Stones has a certain charm that cannot be overlooked. It’s a nice place with potential for a truly delightful dining experience. We’re willing to chalk up the issues to an off day and will return, hoping for a smoother...
