It is the first time that I have been inside the bull pub. It is a very spacious environment with a car park at the rear of the building. Me and the wife ordered a steak and ale pie that comes with mash, peas, carrots, and gravy. 2 pints of Guinness and a coffee that came to £41.00. It is very well priced, but to be fair in this day and age, what isn't? The food was very hot. The pie was well filled also. A touch more gravy would have been nice, but each to their own. The service was exceptional, well mannered, and accommodating. The Bull also does live entertainment. Make sure that you book for the Cavery which serves on a Sunday. Overall, yes, I would come back here again.

Well sign posted through the back car Park to enter. Met by a very friendly man very easy to track and trace in hand sanitizer at the entrance. Was offered sitting indoors or outdoors we chose outdoors. Was explained the one-way system and ordering food and drinks. Again the gentleman taken the order was very helpful and friendly. My friend had the roast and I had the vegetarian burger. We both chose Eton mess for dessert. My drink which was suggested by the man was lovely . Plenty of food great price. Can't fault it at all well done guys. Hope to see you

Had a 1:30 Xmas Fayre lunch today, pub was full but not crowded. Food well presented and the portions were large.we had a party of 16 plus a couple of smaller children, so our tastes and choices varied. Staff were excellent, and when our food came we were all served quickly and together. During the meal waitresses checked to make sure we had sufficient drinks. A splendid afternoon. On Speaking to my 'party' afterwards , everyone said how they enjoyed their visit.

Okay so I understand things are different restaurant staff have to be strict and managers have to go by the Covid19 rules but my gosh my experience over the weekend just showed me how power hungry management can be. The young lady who served us was nice, she was getting used to the mask so she had difficulty understanding us and us understanding her but in time we'll all adjust but the guy who was either the superior or manager was so drunk with covid power, I'm sure he's a nice fella but he's definitely enjoying ordering people around!! The tone and manners were not okay it came across quite blunt and rude, he needs to take it back a notch! It was a humid but wet afternoon and he was dripping with sweat, I really wanted to ask him to go wipe his face because if sweat dropped into food or drinks that's definitely a no no in general but also a double no no given the situation and also quite rich considering his tone towards customers about complying with Covid19 rules! I think there needs to be a better balance of communication from senior staff to customers it's still hospitality, be nice!! ... The food was okay! My sweet potato fries and onion rings were...

Came here for our first family meal in over 6 months and was treated with zero respect by all members of staff at this establishment.

It started off horribly as originally we made a booking and specifically asked if they were serving carvery. They said that they were and that they had plenty available. We arrived and the waitress said that they stopped serving carvery as they were quiet and didn't have many customers. No apologies or anything.

We reluctantly ordered our food though from the main menu. Our food was then brought to us, however the attitude of the guy that brought the food to our table was horrendous, he basically chucked our food in front of us as if we were animals.

Avoid this place unless you want to be treated with zero respect. We were one of only two tables in the whole place on a Sunday night. I'm not surprised that the place is empty. Hopefully it stays this way.

Perhaps if you treat your paying customers with a bit more respect,...

Decent pub, clean loos, good drinks range, beer garden, pool, fruity, different comfy areas etc. clearly looked after and a decent range of reasonably priced food. But what is with the staff, they are awful, when they bother serving. Stood at bar, with 5 staff present; 1 lass doing glasses (which is fair enough), 1 talking to her mate about how busy they had been the previous day, one girl sipping draft coke like she was on her holiday, 2 blokes taking an age to pour a glass of wine. Took 5 minutes to get two pints and there was only 1 other person being served! While eating in the dining area I went to the bar twice as nobody came to check if we wanted to spend more money on drinks (which they tried to slow me down from spending due to snail speed service). Give the pasta a miss as it was bland and...
