Shahanshah Tandoori — Restaurant in Broxbourne

We have used the same tandoori restuarant for years and thought we would try something different to make sure we werent getting stuck in a rut. How wrong we were !!!

We ordered on line and was informed it would be around 45 mins wait, which is about standard. After an hour i called to see what was ahppening and was told that the order had left and was on its way, (we only live 5-10 mins away) so after another half an hour i called again and was told it was on its way and the driver has three deliveries, so i just have to wait. I enquired about whether my food would be cold when it arrived and i was told it will be just right.

The food finally arrived, was only luke warm so needed to be microwaved also i have never seen so much oil in a dish.

Will definitely be going back to our original restuarant...

I went there to celebrate my twins christening and hit the jackpot when it comes to value for money, service, and quality food. We had the buffet service with a party size of over 30 people including adults and kids. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and got a good service. The manager allowed us to play our own music on the speakers available which was a simple but nice touch as it made the atmosphere even better. Behind the restaurant is a massive secure car park and because we visited on a Sunday it was free of charge. As a family we have come here before to celebrate and will definitely continue in the future. To the manager I just want to say thank you for making my kids christening a day...

Went here last night, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are brilliant—attentive without being overbearing, making sure everything was just right.

I went with my daughter, who played it safe with the chicken tikka masala and absolutely loved it. I tried the Lamb Salom, a Bangladeshi dish I hadn’t come across before despite visiting loads of curry places. It was absolutely delicious—the sauce was rich and flavorful, the lamb was perfectly tender, and the rice was light and fluffy. The poppadoms to start were fresh and crispy, a nice touch to kick things off.
