OH DEAR!!!!! I've just seen the most disgusting behaviour ever by a Mcdonalds Employee by the name of Rudolf.who is suppose to be briliant at his JOB!!. Its a Busy saturday afternoon in McDonald's #burnley. 13/04/2019. A group of teenage girls were quietly sat finishing off their drinks. There were also many other groups of teenagers in the restaurants also well behaved... I saw an elderly woman leave the restaurant walk across the car park get into her car then drive back across the car park to park in the disabled bay. NO problem with that.. After a few minutes the woman got out of the car stormed into McDonald's began shouting at the girls made a big scene saying she didn't want them gauping at her whilst she eats her food then said to one of the girls... Get back in your cage!!!!!....The girls did nor said nothing to retaliate at all to the abuse they had just been given..... Hang ON!!! this woman drove across the car to park in the disabled space from another space to eat her food when she was already parked up in the car park... Weird!
Then RUDOLPH immediately went over to the girls and aggressively ordered them all out of the restaurant in front of everyone....SAying this lady had made a complaint!! SORRY FOLKS!! I got up.....I said to him. "how do you know that woman is telling the truth, She has already embarrassed them by shouting at them in the restaurant making a public nuisance of herself" Then to add Rudolph shouted at the girls ordering them out.. He did not ask politely for them to leave... These are the next generation of Mcdonalds customers. after I had spoke to him Rudolph then added.. That's the problem with this country NO DISCIPLINE" Again I was astonished at his remark!!! this country!!!!... I'm proud of my nation, proud of its mixed citizenship and the diverse culture we have.... I can't see anything wrong... Treat everyone with a little respect and dignity and perhaps some humility and politeness regardless of AGE, gender, or anything that some people may think that makes us adversely unique.
He needs to learn to treat every single person whether they are 15 or 50 with the same decency and respect they deserve. Rudolph should have never have marched over to those girls and ordered them out.... they left with no fuss at all. He should most definitely be suspended from his job and the CCTV footage must be viewed by senior management..... I do expect a comment from mcDonalds... This occured at 14:47 on the 13/04/2019.
Even I got up and left the restaurant in disgust. AS he failed to even treat me with any respect taking the side of the woman who walked into the restaurant in the first place making a disturbance,,, #justamazed
Even a policeman said they have finished their order and now they have left so the problem is sorted... NO IT IS NOT!!! Shame on you Mr Policeman!!!!!! This problem exists everywhere.
STOP DISRESPECTING OUR YOUTH! SPEAK TO THEM INSTEAD OF ORDERING THEM AND SHOUTING AT THEM !!!!! #howwouldufeel
If she was that upset she could have quite easily moved her car again... Did a very good job of jumping out of her car from a disabled space and rushing into Mcd's to shout at them....
I'm never ever going into Mcdonalds until they learn to change their attitude!!!!!! RUDOLPH please feel free to comment!!!! as you were so happy for me to make a complaint!!! and leave a review... there you go....!!! Hope you've served the...
Read moreRead moreWhen you get an order wrong that does have implications beyond the item there was an issue with. Let me explain. I come home and notice that the sauces are missing from both large Chicken Select orders (they kind of make the meal really). I mistakenly call McDonalds on St James Street where the Assistant Manager is very apologetic and offers to replace the entire order. I explain that wouldn't be necessary since my daughter had started eating already and I had given her my Big Mac (I would have the Happy Meal, that's fine). So from an order of +£20 I only ask for one Chicken Select Meal to be replaced and a Happy Meal since these are the items going cold at home... I had to call, now need to get back out, drive all the way back and eat on my own after everyone else. When I arrive at THIS McDonalds, the attitude is completely different. No longer are they trying to fix the problem they have created. No sense of empathy whatsoever. No sense of taking responsibility for one's mistakes. I find myself being confronted by a "what is the least we can do" attitude displayed by the lady manager. I try to explain that I would like a Chicken Select meal and a Happy Meal (after showing my order details on my phone). I am told that they can only replace the item there was a problem with. I explain that this doesn't make sense since food has been going cold... So, now I find myself in a discussion whereby I can't get a Happy Meal but I can get 2 Chicken Select meals (which are worth more). That is a lot of chicken for me though but seemingly that is the best I am going to get... when these arrive I look in the bags no fries! So now I have to fight on my hands to get one bag of fries. Just an absolute shambles... came home, stressed out and annoyed at this manager who has very little people skills and should probably leave customer interactions to another member of staff. So I basically ended up sat at the dining table at home on my own, staring at 10 pieces of Chicken Selects + fries, while not really being hungry anymore after all this faffing. Rant over! Conclusion... never again, going to St James Street instead. PS: never thought I would write such a long review about McDonalds of all places... must be really annoyed for this to...
Been a frequent and mainly ignored customer here for several years. But my complaint is specific, and aimed mainly at one member of staff who seemingly doesn't like me very much! To such a point that I was literally "body-blocked" one morning attempting to leave. This person's attitude would at best be called indifferent, but given their position mingling with customers I think most would call it ignorant or even personally rude. Lockdown seemed to give them some extraordinary powers which they relished using, hence the "body-blocking" incident late on in lock-down. Despite attempts by me at simple "hello, goodbye" and "how are you" they've never once even had the courtesy to reply or even acknowledge my conversation or even my presence. Today was no exception, I approached, smiled, said Hi and tried to put my rubbish in the correct bins, but they were blocked by said person's body. Clearly they were too busy in conversation with other staff to even acknowledge my presence. As I attempted to get their attention in order to find where on earth the trays went I gave up and walked out.
I also get the impression (by the speed of the other staff behind the counter) that no one else wants to be out with this person either. And why is it that when ordering in the morning it is always "take-out only"? It's as if this person doesn't want anyone there! God forbid they'd have to do something. So after today I won't be returning, after 4 or so years of being completely ignored, scowled at and treated as an apparent Inconvenience, I will be...
