Today, 19/6/25 I nipped across to this establishment from my work place across the road. I wondered what kind of food and drinks were on offer. It looked really nice that mature couples seem to be enjoying themselves and chilling out. I very nice setting in other words. Thinking my wife and I would like this place, I went across to see if I could find anything out about the place, my wife wasn't with me at the time. I took a pic of the sign outside, but still didn't understand what kind of place it was. I picked up what I thought was a leaflet from outside. I was quickly greeted with "Oh, you can't take that... it's the nenue". I asked the young lady if she had a flyer/ leaflet, she said no. I heard a male voice saying, " he can look online ' My immediate reaction was, How bloody rude you are, I only wanted some information for god sake. My wife and I and her brother and his wife dine out regularly, before going to a local theatre to watch a play. I later found out that the premises in question was, {All The Shapes} I can honestly say, we won't be visiting you anytime soon. Because you're at the end of a street where drug dealing is rife, you looked down your nose at me....

This place looks nice, it gives the impression that’s its professional and the menu is appealing. I went for brunch with family on a Sunday, knowing this is a busy time. The drinks took a really long time to arrive and I had to prompt the waiting staff. After waiting 30 mins for food we were told it would be another 40 minutes wait, after politely saying that is too long to wait (we had a small child with us) and we would have appreciated being told it was such a long wait for food - the biggest issue of the experience was how atrociously rude and ungracious the staff were. They appeared totally overwhelmed (by only a few tables) and instead of staying calm and friendly they were totally dismissive and the cook actually walked off mid conversation after we really gently said that we should have been informed of the long wait when we ordered. This attitude and atmosphere ruined our brunch and we ended up getting out of there as quick as we could and picked up a couple of cold sandwiches at M&S across the road. We were offended by the whole experience. I suggest some staff training is needed and team morale needs to...

Sad to give such a bad review as we like this place a lot. We were given a heads up that the food would take up to 45mins but decided to have a drink and see it through.

We ordered the Other Breakfast and some French Toast, the breakfast plate was extremely small for paying ÂŁ11. 2 of the saddest slithers of butternut squash and around 5x of the tiniest mushrooms chopped up in a drizzle of cashew cream with a tablespoon of lentils, it was honestly a very weak overpriced presented plate, even though the taste was good, with a 45min wait we expected at the very least for the plate to seem like good value.

The French toast was ok, but lacked flavour, could have done with more syrup or sweetness from something.

We didn’t even get a casual “sorry for the delay and wait” for the fact it took so long which was pretty disappointing to say the least.

Even though the place was quiet, there were also 4x staff working the bar area turning away from what we saw 5-6couples at various stages of our 1hr stay.

Giving this review for you guys to improve, as this was such a...

Vegan review: The vegan options were clearly marked on the evening menu. We shared the edamame to start, which was nice. For main I had the aloo gobi dish, with a side of brassicas veg. It was quite bland so I asked for sauce, the only vegan sauce they had was sriracha. The smaller plate and side wasn’t very filling. There were no vegan options on the larger plate menu. I had a chai latte, I prefer it to be sweeter. There weren’t any vegan dessert options which was disappointing, so I opted to have a golden milk (without honey, and substituting cinnamon syrup) to drink. It wasn’t bad. Overall, good location, good service, more vegan options would be nice, introducing vegan desserts. I notice that there’s a different brunch menu which seems to have many more vegan options, so need to try it then, plus there’s a different menu on Sundays. It’s a great bar to have a drink in, good vibes with some decks and a dj - we came back the following night, a Friday! (There wasn’t a dj the previous night).

I don't know why but I don't often try places on my own doorstep. All The Shapes is one such place. It's kind of hidden down a little street which is now part of the new Prestwich revamp and is now not directly accessible from Bury New Rd by car as there is now a bus stop erected instead. This just makes it more appealing though. The food is right up there with the best of them with some beautiful dishes on the menu and they know how to make coffee. It's got high chairs for little ones and upstairs is a little quirky in character which helps define this little gem of a place. It's great and it's local!

Cute little place tucked away on a side street. We had just eaten lunch so we got a coffee and carrot cake. The cake was ssuuuuper delicious and my husband and I were jokingly fighting over who got the last bite. It was quite full on a sunday at 2pm, though we did not have to wait at all. There is seating upstairs too. Staff were attentive and friendly. Its a family friendly place, there were a few young children upstairs but they didn't bother us. There was some funk music playing at a good background level.
