Buka Royale — Restaurant in Bury

I placed an order today with this restaurant via Uber Eats and about 20 minutes after placing the order, the restaurant called to say that because I had previously given them a 3 star review from my past order on 21st April 2024, they were going to cancel today's order and true to their word, they cancelled my order. Honestly, I don't have any issues with this restaurant as they reserve the right to determine who they can sell to and who they don't. But if this review feature is meant to open up money-paying customers like me to meaningless and unnecessary victimisation by restaurants and food vendors who sell very low quality food at exorbitant prices to the public and get upset when frank feedback is provided, then this might be the last time I will ever use Uber Eats as a service. To the best of my knowledge, I didn't ask for a refund of the £23.05 I paid on the day and I didn't get any.

Dined here for the first time yesterday. The Ofada Stew was absolutely bursting with flavour and the meat very succulent. Some seriously fiery pepper in the sauce, which I loved. Service was nice and polite and also quick. I also thought the restaurant was nice and bright and modern, and nice music selection with some great Afrobeats tunes playing throughout. I would like to visit again in the future and see what else they have to offer. Delightful service from the owner, the food was the right temperature and tasted great. The packaging, the service, the food, excellent! I'd most definitely recommend you visit for a meal out.
