Icons Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Bury

What an amazing venue this is, recently moved from another location, there's an incline up to the front door but NO steps. I will definatley be going again, my initial thoughts were that you had to book a meal or a show to go in, but NO you can just go in for drinks like any other bar. There's big screens showing current sports events and if there's an evening performer on there are soundproof doors separating the 2 rooms.

Great for a night out keep a look out on Facebook or Skiddle (event ticket app) for upcoming shows. We saw an ABBA tribute act and they were brilliant. There's plenty of seats. When you book your tickets you get a table all with a great view. A waitress will come round to take any drinks orders and pay by card so you won't miss any of the show either. Everywhere is spotless, there's plenty of places for a photo op, there's even a photo booth downstairs near the loos. And all the staff...

Came across this place whilst trying to decide where to go for a few casual pints with my brother in law..... really glad we stopped here. The interior is really nice, the selection of drinks are vast and most importantly the two staff members who served us were brilliant, they gave us information on whom to contact as we enquired about hiring the venue for a birthday and also kindly showed us the closed off back room to get an idea of the size of the venue. I'm really sorry I don't remember the names of these two members of staff but they were very entertaining and have a sense of humour......and the young lady member of staff gave us an awesome impression of Michael Jacksons moonwalk lol. Again will be making this a regular spot for a few pints whenever I'm in Manchester visiting...

Over the past week (while the Oasis event was on in the park and continuing even after it ended), Icons has been playing amplified music at a volume that carries clearly into nearby homes—even with windows fully closed. With windows open (necessary in the current hot weather) the music is extremely intrusive. This has made it difficult to relax, hold a conversation, or sleep. I’d ask the management to reduce outdoor / amplified volume in the evenings and be more considerate of the surrounding residential area. Until the noise levels are addressed, I can’t recommend Icons to fellow...
