Italia Mia — Restaurant in Bury

Absolutely the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to.... the staff make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Everything is clean. Me and the girlfriend have been here many times. I've took my mother and grandma here several times and everybody has always been so happy we leave a good tip. The minestrone soup is amazing. The fillet steak is the best in town. They have a good wine selection and it is all reasonably priced. Good and fast service. That real Italian feel. I can't rate this restaurant high enough. I would defiantly recommend to anybody and I will defiantly be going back again and again. 10 out of 10 in every aspect. P.s. I never ever ever give anywhere 10 out of 10. There is always room for improvement. Or so I thought, this place has proved me wrong and I'm happy for it......... .p.p.s I guarantee you will not be disappointed with this restaurant, it is a must try for any body who likes...

Ordered from just eat and it was that bad i requested a refund. The lasagne was stuffed full of cheap mozzarella which was congealing as it was going cold, there was barely any ragi and it tasted of nothing anyway. The cannelloni was just grey, grainy, meat with no flavour. Yet more cheap mozzarella. Everything bland, tasteless. Cheap ingredients, badly made. The wrong starter had been delivered, i conceded to eat as i was hungry - the prawns were not even patted dry after defrosting meaning the marie rose sauce and everything else was kind of swimming around in the prawn water. The only thing mildy edible was the garlic bread, which was stone cold on arrival, like it had been sat there for ages. All in all it was...

We ordered garlic bread to start, which was ok. Service was friendly if a little slow. It wasn't clear exactly what beer was being served on draught. For our mains, Steak with a peppercorn sauce which was a poor cut of meat swimming in a thin gravy with some pepper. The side of chips tasted like microwave warmed oven chips. The other main was a carbonara. The steak was barely edible and corbonara was "ok" with a thin sauce and no evidence of eggs. It is unfortunately one of the worst meals we have eaten in some time and the steak especially for £18 + £2 for the side was just awful. A shame because we want to support local business and the staff were very welcoming...
