Outstanding!

I came across this venue a couple of months ago when I was let down by another venue and have been in regular contact with the Manager, Gage.

I was looking to host a private event and Gage could not have been more helpful, flexible, co-operative, understanding, the list goes on!

From the first conversation to the event, nothing was any trouble. There were 14 of us and we all dined in. The food was absolutely fantastic. Top quality, locally sourced, great portions and very reasonably priced.

I was so excited to hear about future plans. I know my group and I will be back for many more visits. I need to try and schedule in Afternoon Tea, Brunch, Dinner (again,) before the end of the year!

Simply cannot wait to support this wonderful, independent venue again.

On the whole, it was good apart from the fact that there is a door with a disability lock, which I have a key for. Unfortunately, it doesn't contain a toilet, only washing machines and dryer when a member of staff told be not to go in I did tell them that they needed to take the disability badge of the lock as it was...

I took a friend for afternoon tea and we both cannot praise this bar/restaurant enough. Lovely setting, so welcoming and spotlessly clean. Quality food, and lots of it ( we couldn't finish the cakes!) served by such a friendly member of staff that we didn't feel like leaving. We will definitely...
