don't even bother coming in here if you're under 21 or look under 21 as the landlord will refuse to look at your perfectly valid ID and kick you out. didn't even have a chance to open my mouth and begin to order a drink before I was rudely shouted at and told to leave the premises with two other friends. all of us were of age yet he continued to tirade us and plainly refused to look at our ID when he suggested that he could challenge anyone who looks under 21. horribly rude staff, disgusting place, wish there was an option...

Myself and partner met up with ³ 3 friends on their recommendation and we was NOT DISAPPOINTED we all had the home made còrned beef plate pie with proper chips mushy peas and fresh carrots and thick gravy i can tell you now if was perfection on a plate the pastry was scrummy the pub is a delight to sit in iwould say a lot of money as been spent on the refurbishments and best of all our meals cost 4.4.75p yes thats all what with the picken chicken practically next door that is at least one other reason. to visit...

Lunchtime treat. Took my mum for lunch as some friends had said it was nice. The landlord is friendly and welcoming. Mum had the steak pie - home made. Loads of meat in it. I had the lasagne which was really good also home made. It was really tasty and filling. Just the right amount of meat to pasta. Drinks as well and under £20 for all.
