Lovely Jubbly Cafe — Restaurant in Canterbury

Third visit, probably my last after this experience. Bacon fatty, sausages were very bland and cheap beans. The breakfasts I have had were at best average but this last visit I’m sorry to say was poor. The price for the same breakfast each visit has been different each time. My toast wasn’t great. This should be a gold mine as they have competition from numerous tea shops but no direct cafe competition. I was also taken aback by the staff’s mobile phone noise and them watching a re run of Eastenders at very high volume. Such a shame I so wanted this to be a better. Back to the Beach...

Lovely Jubbly is an ordinary decent straightforward English Caf. It is run by at least I think Turkish people who are really lovely. I don’t know who wrote the review below about the food being cheap but maybe they were in the wrong place. It’s a caf for you plonker not a Michelin starred Gastropub. I for one one will keep going back. The only thing that annoys me is the awful radio twittering around in the background but it’s standard these days. We went for the all you can eat breakfast and were pleased we did! Food was good, typical no frills fry-up and the service was excellent. The staff were so friendly and efficient. You could see they had lots of regular customers coming and going which is always a good sign. Didn't give 5 stars as the sausages let it down a little but thats just my personal preference.
