Cafe De Julia — Restaurant in Castle Point

I've been to Julia's a few times now for breakfast. Its a nice quiet atmosphere and the staff couldn't be any better. Everything appears to be clean & hygienic, including the toilet. They're polite and really friendly. The food (full English breakfast & a bacon sandwich) has been great. They do use thick white bread for the sandwich, which I'm not a fan of. That said, it's just my personal preference to want thin sliced white or brown bread. Anyway, I would definitely return to this place and would wholeheartedly recommend it. 😃 Had a lovely family lunch here today. We originally booked the table for mid day but we had to change the time for an hour earlier AND we had to add an additional person to our party. We phoned to re book and was super impressed with how accommodating they were. They reserved the early table for us and clearly explained there may be a slight delay but this was no problem at all. Every table was full but they ensured we had our table. We then ordered 5 different drinks, 5 different meals and 5 different deserts and everything arrived promptly and was all delicious. My Sister and brother in law arranged for an afternoon tea for our 47th wedding anniversary yesterday. It was delivered to our house dead on 2pm. The lady delivering was lovely and friendly and the afternoon tea was absolutely delicious. Just enough to eat with gorgeous sandwiches and the right proportion of scones and cake.
