Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Charnwood

I think that the earlier reviewer's haven't even visited the store during peak times. I live locally, so was quite pleased that my favourite big coffee brand store is opening nearby, but unfortunately to my disappointment on 4 occasions that I have visited only one cup of coffee was prepared to company standards (it was served by a manager). On other occasions milk was way too hot, babycino was colder than room temperature, pretty much undrinkable for a little person (who wants to drink cold milk with chocolate on top?). I haven't used drive-thru, but from what I've noticed most of the cars are directed to wait in bay so they need to allow extra time for their drinks. I'm leaving 3/5 review for very clean environment. Staff does clean the store as soon as customer leaves. Display of sandwiches/cake's is very presentable. Toilets are well maintained. Please train properly all your people responsible for preparing drinks and that review can be changed for...

I went in today for 2 hot chocolates and couldn’t believe what I seen 4 members of staff sitting on the floor taking food out of the fridges and putting it on the floor think they were checking dates as the food was on the floor staff were moving it with their feet that is such a health concern as the staff are in and out of the premises I couldn’t believe the manager was telling them what to do I’ve eaten there before and I’m not happy about it I will be reporting it to their head office and will be contacting Health and safety I thought Costa was a great place but sadly it’s not the people who work there should be ashamed of themselves disgusting behaviour how would they think it was ok to...

I come here about once a week for a switch off and unwind after work. Love the shop, great coffee and the atmosphere has that relaxing 'Me time' forget the world feel to it. The staff, like so many Costa's around the country, seem to lack that friendly engagement but do a very good job being efficient and serving up that perfect cup. This isn't a major thing for me personally as after a full on day of people engagement it's nice for me not to have to make that effort for an hour of my week. Thumbs up are the shop, the coffee and the staff... thumbs down, why do Costa make you ask for tissues instead of putting them with the sugar etc... what's that...
