Sutalia — Restaurant in Charnwood

Sutalia in Loughborough offers an inviting ambiance perfect for a family celebration, and my recent visit for a birthday meal with my wife and kids certainly had its highlights. Yearning for an authentic Italian experience, we were greeted with impeccable service from start to finish.

Opting for a variety of dishes, we sampled the mozzarella sticks, olives, and creamy mushrooms to start. While the starters were enjoyable, the mozzarella sticks tasted somewhat standard, possibly pre-made and frozen. However, the crab tagliatelle stole the show with its rich and flavorful taste, leaving a lasting impression.

Regrettably, the pizzas didn't quite meet our expectations. They lacked the authenticity of a stone-baked crust, instead resembling pre-made bases, and while the toppings were satisfactory, they failed to excite our taste buds.

Despite this, the overall dining experience was elevated by the attentive hospitality and cozy ambiance reminiscent of a quaint café. Our bill, totaling £59 with soft drinks, felt reasonable given the exceptional service received.

In conclusion, Sutalia in Loughborough may not have delivered a perfect culinary experience, but its warm atmosphere and top-notch service certainly make it a worthwhile dining destination for those seeking a cozy...

We have been to Sutalia a few times and loved our experience every time. We always go in the evening but this time we decided to go and try the breakfast menu. I was not disappointed it is great and has something for everyone. They serve breakfast from 9am until 2pm which is great especially when you have a hangover like we did from night before. They have something for everyone whether you are Vegan, Gluten Free or Vegetarian! I am not even Vegetarian but the Vegetarian Baked Eggs sounded amazing so I gave that a go and was not disappointed.

Sutalia does more than we had realised. They do Private Parties, Buffets Hot & Cold, monthly special nights where they give all customers lots of amazing complimentary treats. We are definitely going to be going to the next one they do. Unless you are a regular or follow on social media (instagram) you don’t really get to know all the great things that are on offer. So if you don’t follow Sutalia you should give them a follow.

There is a cute little court yard at the back that they call the Crooked Garden. It’s a proper little sun trap. They are adding some new bits to main menu so can’t wait to try these. Staff are so friendly and fun. One of my favourite place to go eat or...

I visited Sutalia after dropping off hire van to Enterprise nearby. There are plenty of options for breakfast/coffee in the area but I chose Sutalia and I must say - I wasn't disappointed. The staff were extremely friendly on arrival and very attentive. I ordered the Granola with fresh fruit and it was exceptional. There was fruit in the granola and additional Strawberries and grapes in a side bowl. It was the best/freshest granola I have tasted and the latte was steaming hot (just as I like) Would highly recommend a visit as 100% value for money and a lovely way to spend late morning. They also sell home-cooked meals for take-away so will be sure to try these out...
