Little India Restaurant Shepshed — Restaurant in Charnwood

Myself & my husband came here Saturday. It was a lovely little place My husband ordered a lamb dish ( I cannot remember the name but it came in a skillet with fried onions & pepper & it was absolutely delicious.

We ordered the special naan bread & that was delicious crispy & also so soft in places absolutely 10/10 for that

I ordered the vegetable biryani & I didn't rate it unfortunately it packed flavour both the rice & the sauce. I only ever order a veg biryani eating out so have tried a few and I just didn't get it. It wasn't horrible but just not one that I enjoyed.

The staff was lovely. Very accommodating & helpful

If I steer away from biryani I will...

Very disappointed. Phoned to place my order at 5pm on the Sunday. Was told that it would be ready at 6pm. Thought it was a long wait....then receive a call to say that the man who took the order forgot it was a Sunday so it will be ready 5.30pm....but also the credit card machine was broken and I needed to bring cash. On arrival, took my money and told me he would not charge me for pickles..

Waited until 5.45pm...then to be told the original guy who took my order had not charged me for the starters....so had to pay more money.

Meal was for 3 members of my family....and all 3 were ill with stomach upsets the next day.

Will certainly not be returning or...

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. We ordered via UberEats and the shop was open and available with their own delivery. The order went through and also did the payment. After almost TWO HOURS the food wasn't delivered yet. I've been trying calling ALL of their numbers (both in app and the one found on Google) but no-one responded; just an annoying voice mail. Eventually I canceled my order and got a refund from UberEats. I left them multiple messages but they never called back or...
