Always a warm welcome. A proper pub in the sense that there is memorabilia, old brass hanging off the walls, beer mats stapled to the bar and an array of ales and whiskies. There is ample seating that is spacious, spread out and private enough for small and large gatherings. There is always a fantastic selection of real ales on offer (and guest beers that change regularly) as well as all the other drinks that you would expect to find in a local pub.
