McDonald's — Restaurant in Charnwood

I drove down and could see the cars buidling up from Dunhelm, so i thought i would walk in to save time. i walked in at 12:50pm, there was i a few people waiting so i thought fair enough its just really busy. I ordered 3 of the festive burgers large meals. I paid and started to wait for my food 20 minutes went by and i could see customers were starting to get angry, People were waiting at tables for 15-20 minutes not getting food. The whole system is not working, you have staff making burgers quicker than the front end staff could deliver. The food was just pilling up everywhere and going cold, evenetully after a total of 30 minutes wait i got my order whiich was shocking the burgers were cold the chips were soggy and cold. I asked for a large meal, the chips might aswell be small portions. The cocla cola tasted like lemonade but coloured like coke cola. My staff memebrs and myself threw all the food away. If i could give no stars i would. Mcdonalds this franchise needs shutting down, never ever will i spend my hard earned in there again. I have photos to prove what a shambles the thurmaston franchise is. I realised that all the cars queing up makes it look busy, but they are not that busy. I ordered two happy meals, two chicken mayos and a sharing box or garlic mayo cheesy bites. I was asked to pull up to the next window after I had paid as my food wasn’t ready and they needed to serve other customers. I then waited for 15 minutes when I had to then reverse back to the window and ask for my food to which they had FORGOTTEN about my order ! They quickly shoved my order through the window after preparing it on the spot and when I got home my child happy meal was missing the burger which resulted in a very upset child who was not feeling well and was looking forward to her food. So I paid for a product I did not receive and was forgotten about. The extremely high turn over of staff is obviously affecting the service. Over the many times I’ve been here it’s been a shocking amount of times I have been missing 1-3 of food, the money accumulated from the missing food I have PAID for over the years is...

2023 - is there anyway to get Thurmaston branch some help or management who can help them with basic business processes and procedures? Maybe we need to complain higher up then the branch... It's like they know the issues, but can't correct them or feel customer service is not important

10-sept-2020 - what's wrong with Thurmaston? I have enjoyed McDonald's all over the world, unfortunately I live near to thurmbo and they struggle with the basic, forgot a drink and apple pie today, arrived home to discover missing items... How hard is it? And why can other sites manage well? Disappointed that I can't leave less then one star
