The Buttermarket Cafe — Restaurant in Charnwood

Visited the Butter market cafe for a bit of breakfast while waiting for a car service down the road. The staff were very friendly, felt very welcome when we walked in, the place is very clean and tidy with plenty of seating and clear menus and prices. The food was very reasonably priced. The breakfast was excellent, hot plates are a great sign that the kitchen cares, and this place is no exception. Very hot food arrived very quickly and was really well presented, all looked very nice, generous portions and wouldn't change a thing. Highly recommended, look forward to visiting again...

It wasnt the 20minute wait. It wasnt even the microwave sausages. It wasnt the £9.50 i paid for the two Saus&bacon baguettes (&a hashbrown!) either. It was the fact that the baugettes are the ones you take home and put in the oven. You know the ones that are part cooked? Served em straight out the packet! Aneamic and soggy! The bacon wasnt too bad, had a nibble of that before everything went in the bin. The cafe itself seems clean. Inside and outside seating available. Wont be returning...

Best cafe in mountsorrel by far, the best service and food. Amazing prices and if I’m honest I’d recommend increasing them, the quality is incredible and I’d happily pay more to a small business. The team always have a smile on their face and always make you feel welcome unlike other businesses in mountsorrel. Really deserve all the 5 star reviews because...
