"Exceptional Meal and Service – A Must-Visit Restaurant!"

I recently had a lovely meal at this charming restaurant, and it was definitely a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by students currently training in catering and hospitality. It was clear they were really passionate about what they do, and they looked great, dressed immaculately and eager to make sure everything was perfect. Their enthusiasm gave the place a welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home.

After being shown to our table, we were handed the menu, which had a great selection of options to choose from. Everything was reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of the food on offer. The restaurant itself had a relaxed, inviting atmosphere—perfect for unwinding and enjoying a good meal.

I went for the roast pork, which was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. It was tender, juicy, and full of flavour, beautifully presented, and just a joy to eat. My wife had the roast beef, and she was equally impressed. The beef was cooked to perfection—tender and packed with flavour, with just the right seasoning. We both agreed that it was one of the best meals we’ve had in ages.

The service throughout the meal was spot on—friendly, prompt, and attentive without being overbearing. The students really went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

If you're after a place that offers great food, excellent service, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely the spot. We left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend checking it out—you won’t be disappointed!

We had a great three course lunch today. All tasty & well presented. The only (slight) criticism was the portion size of the veggie main course had by one of our party. The mushroom open lasagne was very small (no pic as wasn't my choice) in comparison to the other mains of chicken chasseur & salmon. Maybe if it had been served with e.g garlic bread or a side salad? Still fantastic value and...

Really loved the food here, and the staff were really polite and helpful.

I got the haddock chowder as a starter, and then the back bacon with mash and fried egg as a main. The bacon was absolutely insane and I'd never had bacon as good as that.
