Really great atmosphere - very light and spotlessly clean. Met by super friendly staff who made us very welcome. My daughter and I had the bueno buttermilk pancakes which were utterly amazing and my husband had a super tasty panini. Coffee tasted great and there was a large selection of cakes, cookies and brownies (thumbs up to the raspberry and white chocolate huge muffin that was delicious!) Only one down side - we live too far away to drop in regularly! Despite all of the great reviews, I was very disappointed with my brief visit. I had 10 minutes to spare before a 3-hour motorway drive, so I ordered an Americano for a caffeine kick to keep me alert during the journey. The staff were polite and the cafe had a good vibe. However the coffee was very disappointing. I've tasted better instant coffee. Maybe they accidentally gave me a caffeine-free version? I yawned a few times during my drive so it certainly wasn't packing...

A small coffee shop that is popular with students, not surprisingly as it is close to the university. We only had a coffee each, which was OK but nothing special. The member of staff that served us was pleasant enough. They definitely have issues with ventilation - there was so much condensation on the windows it was literally dripping off and you couldn't see anything at all outside. Parking is a problem as there are only limited on street spaces...
