McDonald's — Restaurant in Chelmsford

Worst McDonalds ever. Went to the drive-through window for a Fish meal, Big Mac meal and some nuggets for the family. After having waited for a very long time at the window this girl tells me to move over and will get the order brought to me. Knowing that last time I did that I stayed there for 25 min and only after I left the car and went inside I got my order I refused to move. A minute later this Head Honcho girl came to the window and requested I move in a tone which made her think she is some sort of a tycoon ... I advised the same so she she got annoyed threatening she will refund me and I wont get my meal as if we were talking about a house not a pxoy McD meal .. I did say no problem but I still wont move until i see the refund to which she replied if you don't mind being here 3-5 days. Said I actually have noting better to do so I will block your windows for a few days no probs .. police cant do anything as a civil dispute on private land so try me... 20 seconds later my order turned up :)

MORAL IS DONT TAKE ABOUSE FORM THESE PEOPLE THINKING JUST BECAUSE THEY WEAR A MCD UNIFORM THEY ARE...

Since my last update of this review a couple of months ago this restaurant has picked itself back up again and dare I say it doing even better!

Order accuracy is has improved, haven't had a wrong order in the last 8 visits! I will take this from its revised 2 stars 🌟 back to 4 stars 🌟 as they have pulled their socks up and are doing a good job, only reason it's not a 5 is because they kids play area is still closed and could do with a fence around it possibly?

Since the redesign, it's given it that extra little but of polish! This place has a decent sized car park that can also accommodate large vans & if the car park was ever full there is still plenty of parking in the petrol station or the lorry park just opposite.

The restautrant has a very modern look inside and out and somehow they've still managed to keep a decent sized play area for kids too. You can now choose whether you want to order you meal by the giant screens as you walk through the door or if you prefer to still order with a person you can do that too! Plus it is always so...

Awful. Driving to Felixstowe I had the misfortune to stop in this (the worst I have ever visited) McDonalds. There were signs announcing that due to maintenance issues there was no chicken! A truly cryptic explanation. I ordered my food and started to wait with a couple of friends of mine. A group of young lads (one of which worked there, they appeared later in uniform) arrived a few minutes later and one of the people serving came out from behind the counter to greet them. My friends got their orders and sat down to eat meanwhile the orders ready read out above the counter was filling up with orders as was the sorting area for food. As it filled up with various burgers the group of lads were all given burgers and went to eat. I could see my food amongst the mess of orders, very slowly one by one the orders were called out in a sad melancholic way. I finally got my food (after 15 to 20 minutes) and predictably it was cold, I ate it anyway and left as we had to get on...
