Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Cherwell District

The staff are very efficient serving. However the crockery is disgusting, the cups are so old they are chipped and so scratched,the glass looks patterned. This is very off putting to drink from, Costa make a lot of money on drinks and the standard of hygiene is very poor. The floor looks like it has never been cleaned and tables do not look like they are regularly cleaned. To be honest I only normally post positive reviews but felt this should be pointed out so somebody in authority will invest in some new crockery and improve cleaning standards. Offers less than the average Costa, accounting for its smaller size. Typically is staffed by either one or two personnel, which means at high peak times, you can expect the small sub-outlet to become very busy. However, you can still get all the drinks that you love and most of the food too. Each Costa is slightly different so don't depend on your favourite being available...

Visited at 13:30 18/10/21. Refused to make 4 cups of filter coffee "because I've been busy all day". I was the only customer in the line. Nobody else waiting. Didn't mind waiting the five minutes for it to brew. A simple matter of opening a packet of filter coffee, emptying into filter tray and pressing start. Laziness at...
