Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Cherwell District

I thought I would treat myself to a cup of coffee and a cake after shopping. At the counter there were no trays or mugs. The guy at the till walked away from me while I asking him about mugs after paying for my items. I found paper mugs on the coffee machine so used them, no napkins, tea spoons or knives. There were empty tables but they were all full of trays and dirty. The cafe had drafted in staff from the shop to assist with clearing tables and filling up dispensers etc. I know this cafe is often disorganised but this is not really an acceptable way to run one. Their only saving grace was the carrot cake which was delicious, hence the reason I've given them 2 stars. Come on Morrison's, get it together, I want to use your cafe but don't want to have to drink my coffee out of paper cups and clear and wipe down my own table before...

Waited for about 40 minutes for 4 meals (2 salads and 2 kids meals), when the food arrived, the only way I can politely describe the lady who brought the food was disgruntled, it seemed to me that should would enjoy her job if only she didn't have to deal with customers. Food was OK at best, although I am aware it is a supermarket cafe so ok was good enough for me. The only thing that I have found is when ever I order food it is always missing something, for example today the salads were supposed to have a dressing, which they didn't. Overall it was OK but in future I think I will just buy a sandwich and...

So desperately under staffed.. had to wait ages for the food with items missing and it came out burnt and dry(really not edible for a child never mind an adult) and on top of that had to walk around for ages looking for a clean table as the tables are filthy and not being wiped down after customers.. they must have a big zero hygiene rating and such a shame that a big company like this cannot be bothered to employ a cleaner or more kitchen staff where its much needed.
