I recently had the pleasure of dining at an Tulasi Indian restaurant and was blown away by the incredible flavors and attention to detail in every dish. To start off, I had the paneer tikka and kale chana chat. The paneer was perfectly grilled, with a smoky flavor and a soft, creamy texture that melted in my mouth. The kale chana chat was a refreshing and light dish, with a medley of chickpeas, onions, and spices that came together in a burst of tangy and zesty flavors. Next, I tried the chicken tikka, which was simply amazing. The chicken was tender and juicy, with a perfect blend of spices that gave it a deep, rich flavor. For the main course, I went with the chettinadu chicken with rice, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was cooked to perfection, with a spicy and aromatic sauce that was full of flavor. The rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked, providing the perfect accompaniment to the bold and complex flavors of the chicken. To finish off the meal, I indulged in the carrot halwa and mango and pista kulfi. The carrot halwa was a delicious and comforting dessert, with a warm and creamy texture that was perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the carrots. The mango and pista kulfi was a refreshing and light dessert, with a creamy texture and the perfect blend of sweet and tart flavors. Overall, my experience at this fine dining Indian restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. The food was exceptional, with bold flavors and perfectly executed dishes that left me wanting more. The service was top-notch, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit.

We were in Bicster village a paradise for the shopping fanatics. We almost spend 8 hours and stayed till almost all the shops get closed. We were almost starving and looking for great Indian Restaurants near by, On searching hot few but Tulasi which is 7 miles from there got our attention. It just took us 15 mins to reach and we parked at tesco free park next to the restaurant as it is for Tulasi customer as well. Well the restaurant is big enough for 30 people only but the staffs were very welcoming and polite. We immediately placed the order as Hara bhara kebab, chicken tikka, tandoori prawns for starter and as it was alkost closing time we ordered our main course too( Mangalorean fish curry, chicken gravy, aallo saag, rice, malabar paratha and naan). As soon as we we got our order we were awestruck with the presentation and the taste was amazingly good. The finesse of the chef you could also see them in photo, I mark and quote that it is “One of the best Indian food in UK”. For four of us including drinks cost 133 which is a decent price. Me and my wife already planning to come here again just to eat here, highly highly recommended

Wanted to try this restaurant so conned a friend into taking me out. The service was impeccable and we were made to feel very welcome. My friend loved the food, but I was not quite so impressed. I will say that I am very fussy about Asian food so hold a high standard of expectation. While there was a lot of effort made to present the food in a contemporary fashion, some of the flavours did not quite hit the mark for me. The bhaji were a bit undercooked. The bread cover on the rice dish, while impressive, did not taste good. Berry dip for a papadum is just plain weird if you ask me. The thing that upset me most was that my lasse was pathetically small and for nearly £5, I really do expect a decent sized large glass, not a thimble. Apart from that, it was nice enough with a menu range that's a bit different from the norm, but a little too limited for me. I had the dosa, which was good and I would actually recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tulasi Restaurant in Oxford, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a cozy, intimate setting that makes you feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, offering excellent service throughout the evening.

As for the food, it was nothing short of outstanding. The menu features a wide range of authentic Indian dishes, and everything we ordered was full of rich, vibrant flavors. The spicing was perfect—not too mild, but with just the right balance of heat. Highlights of the meal included the tender chicken tikka, perfectly cooked lamb curry, and the aromatic basmati rice, which complemented the dishes beautifully. The naan bread was soft and freshly baked, and the vegetable dishes were equally flavorful.

What really sets Tulasi apart is the attention to detail. The ingredients are clearly fresh, and the chef's expertise shines through in every dish. The portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money.

Overall, Tulasi Restaurant in Oxford offers a delightful dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for a cozy dinner out or a special celebration....

Very mediocre experience. Poor service and small portions. We ordered water which never arrived. We also ran out of drinks just after starters but weren't able to get the attention of anyone to order more drinks and we're never asked if we wanted more. By the time the mains arrived and I saw the portion sizes I had decided it would only take 5 mins so little point ordering more drinks (still not offered more drinks though). The lamb shank was good but has basically no sauce. We didn't even have any of our rice with this due to the lack of sauce. Now the sea bass was a joke. The portion of sea bass included about half a fillet. It did at least have some visible curry on this. So we were able to eat some two spoons of rice and some naan with this. After this we were left with dry rive and naan to eat. No check back. The wait staff were only interested in the table of inidans unfortunately. To add a 10% tip on at the end was a joke. I hadn't seen until after we paid as this wasn't stated on the menu. I would have had this taken off. This place does have potential as the food was tasty but honestly I don't go to an Indian to eat dry rice due to the...
