Burger King — Restaurant in Chesterfield

Located just off the big roundabout with ample car parking outside as its shared with the Travelodge next door. Not a place I would normally visit for lunch during the week but I had a Burger king meal voucher prize to use.Once inside you come across the 3 meal ordering screens (1 wasn't working)with payment taken by card.Since I had a voucher I bypassed these straight to the counter,after a few mins waiting ( wasn't busy either )I was finally served with another staff member being summoned from the back to imput the voucher details with my chosen order on the till .The Staff service was very pleasant indeed & my food order was ready in no time,The whopper burger 🍔 was really tasty which I enjoyed ,there wasn't great amount of chips though & Fanta drink was ok , i thought I'd actually been given the wrong drink as it had Coca- Cola details on the cup.There was only around 7 seating tables available inside at the time which I noticed some had left over food deposits on them so these are generally not being cleaned aswel as the floor as and when required for what ever reason.The whopper meal I had would of cost £7.99 ,Even though it was a nice change for some lunch at this popular venue,I asked myself did I think this was good value? Would I return back again soon ? ..in my opinion, the answers...

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM HERE. Ordered delivery twice within last week. Both times missing a burger. After ringing the restaurant, they offer for you to go pick up missing items... Because I ordered a takeaway to go and pick it up, yeah, makes sense. After an item was missing a few days ago, I made a note for the restaurant to triple check my order as I was missing a burger last time. They missed the exact same burger. First time i was told they don't have their own drivers to deliver, the second time (5 days later), I was told the person on the phone is the only driver and also a manager and therefore cannot leave the restaurant. So... Liars. I still not got refund for missing items from days ago, which I also told the lady on the phone. She said she can try and speed it up for me. After getting more and more agitated due to her incompetence, I was told "she doesn't have to speed up my refund, and is being nice". I've explained she's not doing me a favour since i wouldn't of needed a refund had they done their job. It's not rocket science to check there are 2 burgers in the bag. "Don't know what you want me to say" is the response I received. Absolutely atrocious service, never had problems until this week. Will never order from this...

It's quiet here because it's on the most annoying roundabout it chesterfield (so you need to be deliberate about your visit). Staff are great and the food is likewise. Plenty of parking and good, clean toilet facilities.

What really makes this burger king stand out from the rest is the décor. It has the feel of a 1970's roadchef. All credit to the staff though because despite the carpet and paint, they have done a great job keeping everything clean.

I would have given 5 stars except for the awkward and heavy doors at the entrance. You go through the first door and you are immediately greeted by a second door, so you have to hold open the first door in order to open the second door...... Awkward, annoying and not very helpful to able bodied people, nevermind people who might have a disability. But that was the one and only issue. Can't wait...
