As a self-proclaimed burger enthusiast, I’ve ventured far and wide in search of the perfect patty, and unfortunately, Beef King Chesterfield falls far short of its noble name. Touted as a local favorite, I was expecting a regal experience—what I got was more of a fast-food nightmare.

The atmosphere was hardly fit for royalty. The interior had a dated, almost dungeon-like feel, with mismatched furniture that seemed like it hadn’t been updated since the 90s. But hey, I was there for the food, right? The burger itself was nothing to write home about. The beef patty, though thick, had an odd rubbery texture that made me question its freshness. It was cooked unevenly, with some parts suspiciously dry while others were greasy enough to leave a small puddle on the bottom of the bun.

Speaking of the bun, it was a soggy disaster, which, paired with the overly sweet ketchup and the overly generous slathering of mayonnaise, made the entire thing an unpleasant, gloopy mess. The fries, on the other hand, were the highlight—crispy, golden, and perfectly salted. But let's face it: a side dish shouldn't be the only thing worth noting.

To top it off, the service was slow, and the staff appeared to be disinterested, making the entire experience feel more like a chore than a treat. Hands down that was the best fast food meal ive ever had in my life. Where to start? The fried chicken strips were HUGE! The crispiest and juiciest chicken ive ever had hands down and the piri-piri sauce blew my face off! Exactly what I wanted from spicy chicken. The King Special loaded Fries sent me to another planet, the Fries were crispy and tasty, beautiful cheese sauce, the fried chicken and chopped beef on top... if I could attach this dish to an IV and have it pumped into my body 24/7 id be beyond happy... Now let's get to the burger, I had the King Special Combo burger. Now let me tell you this is not just a burger, this is the burger that will ruin all other burgers you'll ever eat. It was insane, the flavour of the beef and the juicy chicken in-between was like having a personal invite to heaven. The balance of flavours was beyond expectation. Never in my life have I had so much satisfaction from fast food. If I could give 100 stars I would. Not only was the food insane but I had a great time chatting with the workers. You have to give this place a try if you havnt before! It is amazing! I was very hungry so I ordered the tripple chicken stack and special fries. I was not disappointed. The food was prepared fresh and the chicken was tender and juicy. It’s a good job I was hungry as the tripple chicken is huge! Very good quality food and value for money.
