The Victoria — Restaurant in Chesterfield

Quite like the place to sit and write about my day, although I have been asked to leave twice, once for invading someone's privacy,(think he thought one was writing about himself), he admitted reading through my personal private notes whilst I nipped outside for a cigarette, I'd call that an invasion of privacy! and once for not drinking fast enough and taking up a table of four although there were plenty of empty tables and people were sat more or less next to me whom I spoke with. The Man who works behind the bar is great and was good enough to look after my bottle of milk so it didn't go sour, he is also a great Disc Jocky. like the place so much I even helped clear...

We use this cafe weekly so decided to ask about their outside catering & so glad we did. We had nothing to worry about because Donna & Carla did that for us. On the evening of the party the trays of food arrived, we couldn’t believe the presentation laid out on crisp white table cloths. We knew the food would be good because it was freshly baked that morning & the deserts were miniature buns of what they sell in the cafe. We had lots of compliments about the Buffet, the food really was good. We can highly recommend anyone to inquire and trust in these professionals if you have a celebration in mind. Great pub, great atmosphere, the karaoke is a tad loud at times for the room size and shapes, it doesn't move well with the louder pitch, but really great people and place to be. I'd love to see more vodka flavours but I know most people prefer their gin so it's not to be expected in every pub.. Worth a visit, often.....
