Caffe Latte — Restaurant in Chorley

I went to Cafe Latte on Monday morning at 11:50 am I ordered food with the new waitress she was a young girl lovely and friendly! I ordered to Avacado on toast with 2 poached eggs and extra bacon.

I went and sat down and was greeted by the “manager” very rudely and she said to me I am not willing to make poached eggs at this time I have a new cook and a new waitress and I can't be showing them to cook poached eggs at this time, you can have a refund!

Not a I am really sorry unfortunately we won't be able to make poached eggs would you like an alternative, the friend I was with had to answer as I was shocked with how we were greeted they asked if we could have fried eggs instead.

They then said yes we can it you want and she went off. 10 minutes later the food came out with only one egg and no bacon! I told the woman the woman that brought the food and she said she would sort it!

2 minutes later she came back and said we have run out of eggs and you can have the bacon for free as its normally an extra charge.

I had explained I had already paid and she said take it up with the manager.

We started to eat and found a hair on the food at this point I thought it was pointless complaining as I knew I wouldn't get any were and I know I would never be going back.

The only reason I gave the service a 2 was for the lovely new waitress that had better customer service than...

My wife and myself called in this morning and was escorted to a table by a lady we presumed was the owner. She took our order of two coffee's and we sat chatting and waiting for our drinks. After twenty minutes we were still waiting even though the cafe was less than half full. The lady who had taken our order had been chatting to two chaps sitting in the window seats the whole time never once checking her customers were being attended to or acknowledging any new customers entering the premises. My wife then went to the counter and asked a gentleman where our coffee s were he said he hadn't recieved our order and was sorry and would attend us straightaway. We drank up and went to pay and the gentleman again offered his apologies and said the coffee's were free and wouldn't take payment. Shocking service Sat down, not acknowledged for 15 minutes so went to order drinks/food at the counter. Only 4 tables in there with people already eating and I was asked if I could wait to order food for 10 more minutes as the kitchen was trying to catch up with orders. We all had drinks and waited and waited and asked if we could order food as our drinks were now finished! The girl on the till said it was now OK to order, I started to order and the bad tempered chef said she was still too busy so we were asked to wait again! I was furious, we only wanted breakfast, only a handful of people in there. We left and went to wetherspoons instead, food ordered and served in 10 minutes. I felt sorry for the 2 girls serving, not their fault, just a rude cook, clearly in need of some customer service skills. I won't be going again.
