Your staff need some training in manners and decency. Arrived to collect a Too Good to Go order which was specified to be available to collect between 15:30 and 16:00. I arrived bang on 16:00 and said I’d come to collect my order, the member of staff said they were closed and the bags had “gone”. She clarified she’d binned it. I asked why, when the store didn’t close anyway till 17:30 according to the website and google, and she just walked off. You need to update your opening times and save people wasted trips and stop wasting food unnecessarily. You are open till 16:00 so you don’t switch everything off and get ready to go before then. It’s obvious she’d chucked it before 4pm cos I literally got to the building before and the lights were off. I had to pull into this services due to feeling ill because of my diabetes I'd recently dropped my partner off at the Blackpool and he had my wallet so I couldn't pay for the extra time I needed to stay to rest after falling in 111 I was told to rest for 3 or 4 hours before driving again on the motorway. I went in to speak about parking and explained I wasn't feeling well and didn't want to drive yet. I was told they was nothing they can do and I'd have to wait for the parking ticket and dispute it by the lady in the spar, after that I spoke with one of the cleaners and she went to get the manager. Popped in for some food on the way to Manchester (7/11/25 around 12ish) whilst sitting and eating we noticed a blonde older woman who seemed to be training a younger brown haired girl by the hot counter. Honestly we were so impressed! Her time management skills were so good and she seemed to have a great plan in making sure there was food available all day. As we were getting up to go we noticed a woman who couldn’t reach an egg sandwich the blonde woman got it for her and said to this woman that if they ever didn’t have anything just to ask and they could always pop into the back and make it for her. I just thought this was such good customer service! This woman deserves to be a manager and have a pay rise - need her in Greggs...
