Stopped for cup of English breakfast tea which came with milk and teabag added to hot water at the same time. The resulting grey anaemic looking liquid was most unappealing. After stirring to unsuccessfully try and get some colour into it I went back and asked for one with milk added after the tea had brewed which the assistant was happy to do. However she did say it was a weak tea even though the website describes it as full bodied! After yet more stirring and waiting I finally added some milk but the resulting liquid was still weak and virtually tasteless. At no point could it be described as 'English breakfast tea'. Is this the best that Starbucks can do? At £2.76 this seems hugely over priced and misdescribed. I look forward to Starbucks response...
Read moreJust called for coffee Sunday 2nd June at 1.30 at M61 Starbucks. 3 staff 2 of which were just talking and laughing loudly whilst leaving the 3rd to do all the work. Long queues and these 2 moved into the back room. Queue got bigger and the poor blond girl was still having to cope alone. We could see the lad and the other girl at the glass door quite clearly messing about. Felt very sorry for the blond girl who did her best until she couldn’t cope and had to chase the others. Read moreMy place to get that needed coffee fix! Always go to the northbound side whichever way I’m travelling. Staff are fantastic, always greeting you with a smile! (These days if not too busy my drinks getting made when I walk through the door if not before 😂). All the staff I see are quite young which doesn’t always make the best dynamic, but here it works. always get a smile and the staff are chatty yet professional, always feel like a valued customer rather than just a number.
