I've been keen to renew our acquaintance with The Little Tiger since they relocated from Abbey Village to Brinscall so ordered takeaway (to collect) last Saturday. I can honestly report the lamb palak mirchi I ordered was the most flavoursome indian meal I've had in a long, long time. Absolutely delicious! The rest of the family had chicken tikka massala and reported it as very nice, but not the best ever. Pricewise, it was about £10 more expensive than a comparable takeaway for the four of us from either of the two takeaway businesses we otherwise patronise once poppadoms, breads and rice had been added to the meal. Phone ordering was simple and the food was ready to collect at the time arranged. Payment by debit card is available. Overall, very good. Will get takeaway from them again and probably try the restaurant once...
Read moreAbsolutely sensational food! We went on a Sunday and had the 3 course Sunday banquet for £14.95. The owner and front of house Kashem couldn’t do enough for us and all the customers who were dining in the restaurant. The restaurant itself is really warm, modern and welcoming space and it’s located in a beautiful countryside village in Lancashire. The food was out of this world 5 star quality, I have never eaten a better Indian meal in my life and I have been lucky enough to tour across a large part of India on holiday. The Indian food served here is superior to what we ate while in India. The option to order a takeaway is also ideal for a week night meal! If you enjoy Indian food this is the best place in...
Read moreIf you want a good Indian Takeaway go somewhere else! We ordered 2 starters, mushroom chat and onion bhaji, the chat was bland and the mushrooms slimy, the bhaji was burnt like it had been cooked several times. The main was vegetable jalfrezi, where shall I start, the veg is obviously cheap frozen supermarket veg, very little heat in the curry, not one green chilli in sight? Not like any other jalfrezi I have ever had and to top it off the chips are cheap frozen fries! If I was in the restaurant the lot would have been sent back. The best thing about it was the naan bread, which we bought from Morrisons, needless to say we shan't be going again! P.S. I just put the above on their Facebook page and it was removed,...
