So me and my partner walk in and get greeted by the waiter who looked out of it. He came to the table and asked if we wanted to order three times after we had already ordered. Diet Coke and Coke £3 a go for a can the Diet Coke came flat and warm. We asked for buffet as it stated on their fb page 6-9 Wednesdays 18.95 per person he said not today and then the table next to us asked for it and they said yes. It was the main reason we booked here for a valentines meal. The samosas were under cooked onion Bajhis were burnt and no flavour at all. Naan bread had barely any bread was just pure crisp. Really bland food. Got the bill couldn’t read any of the writing no prices on nothing was charged £55 for god knows what. Disappointed ruined a valentines night out rare night out without the kids. Spacious, open venue with very hospitable staff. Menu was very broad with your regular Indian Menu on one side and the speciality Grill section on the opposite side. The Rickshaw was an added bonus to compliment the decor, and youngest daughter enjoyed taking some pictures. We were a group of 14, and the overall order was very mixed. Food arrived together and in good time, while the portions were very reasonable. Everyone enjoyed their meal and overall quite pleased to have experienced it. One small recommendation for the management or chefs would be to use slightly less Naga sauce for spicing up the dishes. Bought the food via Colchester Eats, when the food had arrived the chicken burger came with a slice of cheese in which it didn't state it would have on the menu and the person that wanted that burger has lactose intolerance, all other chicken dishes had dry and chewy chicken and so we had binned it all after tasting. Called the restaurant in which they just said "boss not in can't do anything, call tomorrow" and kept doing that until I couldn't bother at all (4 days), did the same via Colchester Eats until 1 week after when I got told "we asked if you wanted a replacement (they didn't) and we can only provide you a voucher for money off.
