Colosseo Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Cotswold District

So what can I say,last night my wife,family and me went to Colosseo to celebrate my mothers 79th birthday.We were so well looked after by Joyce who waited and went above and beyond to make our evening both special and memorable.Thankyou Joyce. I have to also say the food was the best I have ever tasted at any restaurant in my 59 years.The menu is extensive and the portions are ample.The presentation of food by the chef and owner was exceptional, at times we didn't want to ruin the work of art presentation of food but of course we did with 7 clean plates by all,which is very rare these days when eating out. I highly recommend Colosseo restaurant in Fairford a little Italian Gem in the Cotswolds,go eat and enjoy the top class service and authentic Italian delights, Best regards...

I’m genuinely shocked at the experience I had at Colosseo Ristorante in Fairford. From the moment we walked in, the staff looked completely lost and confused. It honestly didn’t seem like a healthy workplace at all, no one seemed to know what they were doing, and the atmosphere felt disorganised and tense.

As for the food, it was far from fresh. Everything tasted like it had been frozen and reheated, absolutely no flavour, no quality, and definitely not what we expected from a restaurant claiming to serve authentic food.

It was honestly such a disappointing visit. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this was such a letdown I felt like people should be warned. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend...

Second time visiting as I honestly think the lasagne is the best. Lost a star as I felt service wasn't what it could be, waited around some time to be asked if we were ready to order food even though menus were closed when taking drinks order. After mains had been taken no one came back to see if we wanted anymore drinks or any dessert? Waited well over 15mins and decided to get up and pay at that point and forget the deserts. It wasn't overly busy either so not run of feet, Food has been delicious both times tho so will return hopefully with more attentive service.
