Tasty House chinese takeaway (10%OFF This Week) — Restaurant in Coventry

I ordered via Uber eats. Delivery was half hour late and when I checked the order it had completely wrong items. I showed the driver the food items and the receipt attached to the order as well as my own order receipt but he wasn’t interested and said call the shop. I called takeaway shop and the lady said is uber drivers fault. She told me that she will call the driver and let me know . After 20 minutes I called back the takeaway but there was no answer for 5 minutes. I decided to go to the takeaway shop and return the wrong items and collect the correct order. On the way I called the shop again and asked the lady to prepare the correct order as I was bringing them the wrong items back to them.The lady said no you cancel with Uber eats as it’s their fault. I tried to explain that I would raise with uber eats but now I’m on my way so please prepare the correct items and I’ll pay again if i have to but the lady kept saying that I need to cancel with uber eats . I made it to the shop the lady took the wrong order off me and said she will get the correct order ready . Once she come back to the counter she started again telling me to cancel with uber eats. I tried to explain which I already did over the phone but she wouldn’t listen and said I need to see cancellation on your phone to give you the food. I explained that I already raised it with uber eats but can not cancel the order as it shows completed but she insisted to cancel again and again which I was unable to do. I showed my phone to her. She refused to give me food and called someone on video call speaking Chinese, showing my phone screen to them . They kept saying to cancel even seen there was no option. Then they told me to reorder and pay again via uber app which I refused and said I can pay them directly and didn’t want to pay twice on uber eats. They refused to give me food. I left the shop and went to another restaurant and placed and order . It was done in 10 minutes.

Conclusion- I wasted more than 3 hours on Saturday night ordering from this takeaway shop.Their customer service was so poor as they didn’t care about their customer. I have decided not to order from this shop in future and would advise everyone to avoid this takeaway.

Well this Chinese was the b3at around until theses owners took over, I tried when they first took over and it was rank iv gone back today and omg years later even worse chilli salted Peppard chips had about 15 chips that were all hard had a bit off oinion and some grated carrots absolutely rank and cost me £6 as I had large and TBf it was small I'd never recommend this place...

Up there with the worst Chinese I have ever had! House special curry had 2 pieces of meat in it sauce was thick and gloopy, barbeque spare ribs didn't taste of barbeque sauce just salt! Pancake roll very bland. Cost us £16 to throw away and have a bowl...
