Very good food been going to this restaurant for over 20 years excellent service and very good prices The owner has a very good team

Restaurant has had a change of ownership however the catering team has not changed thus the excellent food is still excellent. The restaurant has been refurbished to a very good standard. Well done to the new owner. Nice to see loads of happy diners restaurant was very busy the last time I was there.

Went to this excellent restaurant last Saturday after a period of illness. The new owner has refurbished the whole premises and it looks great new table cloths dishes the works including a new serving trolley for. Seth. The starter and main. Course was outstanding. The staff are very smart and the service is excellent As always I always go and thank the chef and his staff for an outstanding meal I now live, in Rugby. but travel here to my favourite restaurant.. It's ok perfectly describes the hollybush. We used to go here often years ago as it was a cheap curry eating out. Not much has changed fast forward to now. New sign put up out the front and new design of menu inside is still the same. The hollybush isn't your typical curry house as it's attached to a pub next to it. You can go to the pub for a drink and walk through the other door and your in the curry place. Food isn't bad and it isn't too quality either you can't compare it to places like Le Raj in Kenilworth or any in earlsdon. But you can't expect that here you know what your getting here and it's a decent meal for a decent price. Another thing to note is the toilets are and look like the working men's toilets so don't be expecting posh looking toilets you won't get that here. My husband had large mixed grill. One of my friends had chicken tikka masala that he was enjoying. Along came a plate and what we all thought was red cabbage, so I had just a very small taste and it's was hot for me so glad I had my carling cider. My friend had a good sized spoonful and instead of waiting he scraped the rest into his meal. Which was a very big mistake he regretted doing that so sat carefully removing all the red hot chilli from the meal and drank lots of his coke. The waitress said many people mistake for red cabbage. There were other customers but it wasn't over crowded, the table's were spaced out, the interior was white and fresh looking, the toilets were spacious, staff friendly and the entire bill for the four of us was very reasonable.
