Best Roast! A Vegan Delight

We were recommended this place for a vegan roast, and it did not disappoint! There is plenty of parking available at the front of the pub or around the back. We were warmly greeted by the family-run staff, which set a welcoming tone for our visit. The roast was served piping hot and was absolutely delicious. It included freshly cooked roast potatoes, nut roast, cabbage, swede, red cabbage, Yorkshire pudding, wellington, sprouts, and a generous helping of gravy. Popped in for a late breakfast with a colleague. Really welcoming staff. Plenty of tables and well spaced. Great menu to choose from all at excellent prices. All food was cooked fresh and excellent. (Breakfast fry up) Good size portions, with a proper doorstep of toast. Chef came out to check everything was good. A very nice touch. All staff were very attentive to our needs. I went to this lovely place for lunch yesterday. What a gem. The people serving could not have been kinder or more helpful. Breakfast choices included different sizes and veggie and vegan. The scrambled egg in particular was delicious. It’s a pub but the cafe at the side is open early. Great if you need to hang around for some reason eg using the garage nearby. Anyway, a really good place to be treated so warmly....
