Where do I begin- we hosted our wedding celebrations at the plough inn on 6.6.25 - also celebrating both of our parents wedding anniversary (6.6.87 & 6.6.92)

Xavier’s communications on the months leading up to our day put us at so much ease- he was buzzing with ideas and I wasn’t prepared for how incredible it would all be executed on the day- the detail in the food table was better than my Pinterest board, the quality and quantity of food was fantastic - everyone was so impressed! The small details like the cake cutting table and the amazing personal touch of the signage outside (I still can’t believe your wife did that!!!) - everything just exceeded expectations and was so so reasonable! I felt the love and passion put into our day as if it was your own.

Xavier you have been an absolute dream, your chef and entire team were amazing and I feel so blessed and happy that it turned out the way it did (even the cheeky bit of sun that came along with it!) it was so perfect and a core memory for all the family.

Came here for our annual Christmas get together and I have to say the food was absolutely delicious! The pub was really nicely decorated with great table decorations and good quality crackers too - some funny jokes for a change. The new owners have really gone that extra mile.

The new chef has certainly started to make a difference too with a perfectly mulled wine poached pear and Stilton starter, fresh perfectly cooked vegetables and good sized portions. My beef and horseradish pie was packed full of tender beef and seasoned perfectly. The only very slight criticism is please make your own Yorkshire puddings it would have been an easy 5 ⭐️ review with one of those on my plate instead of a shop bought one.
