Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Dacorum

im not sure how to start this because i hate writing reviews because it makes me feel like a karen but im kinda tired of costa. the previous couple times of me going to costa ive seen them make the coffee wrong. i dont mean giving me the wrong drink, theyve put the foam or hot milk for my latte in before the espresso, and always putting the vanilla syrup first rather than mixing it with the espresso first. when i first noticed it, i didnt think it was a big deal because its coffee and hot milk, it all goes in the same cup right ?? most people would think it wouldnt impact the taste, but no it actually tastes awful. im sure the staff know how to make coffee because they work at a coffee shop, they must have had training, so im thinking theyre just doing this to be quicker, because the milk is done before the espresso (in my case, i get an extra shot). i assure you most people are there for good coffee and wouldnt mind waiting an extra few seconds for the espresso to be done. i am sorry for the rant, but im tired of paying £5.10 for coffee that doesnt...

Terrible! We decided to pop in with our dog for coffee and snacks after my husband had a nasty fall on the canal towpath and was feeling cold. We were shocked to be told that dogs weren't allowed as we've been in Costa coffee shops previously with our dog. The woman serving my husband got our order wrong three times! Reluctantly, especially as we were seeking warmth and a comfortable seat after my husband's fall, sat outside on uncomfortable seating and rushed our coffee and food because we were cold. We met other dog owners sitting outside who told us that they had been going inside with their dogs for years and now forced to sit outside in the cold will seek out dog friendly cafes to continue their regular...

Had the miss fortune of being served by a short blonde haired older women wutw glasses. The worst attitude to someone who works in customer services! I have an autistic son, and she stared at us like we were something she had trodden in! If I could give a score of Zero I would. She clearly hates her job... so bloody retire!!!!! I will never come to this establishment again. The other Costas in this area are lovely with lovely people.... Disgusted and I am emailing Whitbread! She has made me feel that my son has no place in Costa. Which I thankfully know...
