Barge Inn — Restaurant in Doncaster

Just spent the week at Stanilands Marina to allow me to black the boat. Yes, the highlight of my week was the Barge Inn.

Bar staff are very professional and helpful plus the fact you get service with a smile. Good selection of Beers, Lager, Wines and spirits. Plus you can pay by cash or card.

Food cooked in the kitchen was excellent, served on a preheated plate to ensure that it stayed piping hot while eating it. So a big thanks to Steve for the many variety's of different meals which I certainly got through, in the week I was there. Sunday Dinners was exceptionally scrumptious.. Pretty sure I have put on a few pounds while I was there.!

While I am here a big thanks to Matt, Ryan and not quite sure of the other fellas names who dealt with me on the slipway and chandeliers. A credit to Stanilands Marina.

Only niggle I had was that the onsite services ie, Toilets and showers for the menfolk were out of order and the washing machines and dryers were also out of order.

But on the other hand it was a great week spent...

Just had a lovely meal here with my wife. I had the Steak & Ale Pie, homemade chips and mushy peas with gravy. My wife had the Lasagne with homemade chips and salad. Both the meals were cooked to perfection, good portion sizes and excellent value for money. The service was excellent and we couldn't have been more pleased.
