Homie's Kelham Street — Restaurant in Doncaster

This is re the Wheatley Hall Rd store.

On the positive side the shakes and drinks we've ordered are really nice. The menu looks great.

However, the negative. Our first and only food order to date took 47 minutes from paying in store. This was only after I threatened to take a refund and go to Urban if they didn't sort. That is quite simply an unacceptable timeframe.

Anything more than 10 minutes, 15 at the absolute tops and you are going to struggle to survive. Given you have Urban Burger next door and Subway on the same strip. We could've been served multiple times over in either of those in the time we were waiting.

The apology for the waiting rings pretty hollow as well given every other person in there had a massive wait and for some not their first time!

Online ordering: There appears to be multiple websites pointing to Homies in Doncaster and it's not clear if the Kelham Island and Wheatley Hall Rd stores are actually the same people as most dleuvery websites don't have WH Rd but at least one site does mention the two as the same.

Someone please sort your web presence out.

Unfortunately, given that wait I can't see us ever going back. The burgers were outstanding, but so are next door's and they're far quicker.

Great food. Terrible internet service and waiting time instore and for delivery. I've gone to both branches numerous times. Their burgers and peri chicken and friend chicken are absolutely divine. But the website never lets me order always fail when I attempt to pay/confirm order. So we end up ordering off JustEat and on our last order they took 2.5hrs to bring the food.. despite us ordering before we got hungry, we were too starving to have any appetite left when it came and thats after about 4 phone calls to ask where it is and when I said I want to cancel the order they said its on its way (we're 15min from the shop) and it took them an extra hour after that call. When I order in store I wait around for at least 30min and approx 50min for food to be ready for two people. Idk if they need more staff but they surely need to sort their site out or close it. Waste of time putting in orders and choosing options and filling out address to then not work. Last thing you wanna mess about with when you're hungry. So I do still end up going there once or twice a month cause the food is good and not much halal option is Doncaster. But I dread for the wait.

I don’t know where to start, the food is amazing and the food isn’t great, in the beginning, delivery was late but the quality of food more than made up for it, absolutely amazing, then the past month or two, quality of food went down but food was delivered on time, I’d much rather get my food late but it taste good than get it quick but taste mediocre, and now the quality seems hit and miss recently, I’ve ordered loads of times and will keep ordering but this place is more than capable of 5 stars, 6 stars if it was an option, seems like they just need to get back on track with how they were in the beginning, to many takeaways in Doncaster compromise on food quality after a while, really wishing Homies won’t be one of them, I’m still waiting to try the waffles, seems as though “next week” never comes. I’d like the thank the manager, always very lovely and very polite, he hears out my issue and offers a solution, has even redelivered to me personally so thank you Harry! I would love to give 5 stars but it just isn’t the morally correct thing to do yet, I will update as and when needed. I do recommend everyone to try the Cheeto burger! (Go...
