Blue Spice Halesowen — Restaurant in Dudley

Awfull ! The worst meal (supposedly a Curry ??? ) I've ever had, seriously bland & only half a portion as most of the plate is filled with salad. We ordered the 'Special set meal' for two & boy was it special, I asked for it to be just under a madras heat, when it came it was bland & frankly a baby could have eaten it, no spice at all. The waiter said it was the staff curry i.e; a real authentic indian curry but it was nothing like ! It was shockingly bad. The waiter promised me a B'ham ( Ladypool Road ) quality curry, frankly B'ham's curry houses would have gone out of business if they served food like this ! Dont waste your money here, spend it wisely & go into B'ham or anywhere else tbh. A total rip off & deffinitely not Indian food ! It wasn't even worth a 1 star but couldn't rate any less. You know the saying 'all lace & no knickers' well that sums this place up, surroundings are great but the food say's it all....

Excellent food, very friendly down to Earth and attentive staff, clean and tidy interior. Blue Spice is a definitely a step up from your average high street takeaway. We consistently choose this restaurant over the other alternatives in the area. There is a second dining room upstairs which we've recently hired to say goodbye to departing work colleagues.

Definitely worth a try, no need to worry about quality here. The grilled sea bass was really very good and I also enjoyed the bespoke curry I had which they made for me at madras heat. Shame I cant remember what it was, because I would have liked to have had that one again.

TAKEAWAY - DON'T £50 for 3 of us and the food was horrible.

If I hadnt had a drink I would have taken it back and thrown it in their bin instead of ours

We had 3 different curries, korma, masala and pathia - all 3 it was just sauce without any spices. I would say they were left out, i asked for mine to be extra hot and there was nothing.

all 3 in the bin and as it was my birthday ended up having a couple packets of crisps to fill the gap.

This is a restaurant a group of us parents go to a few times a year. We probably spent into the thousands with this restaurant and now...
