Oh my goodness gracious, where, in the vast expanse of this cerebral endeavor, might I initiate the commencement of such an intricate discourse. To commence, upon our arrival, we were assailed by an unpleasant aroma seemingly emanating from the kitchen.Upon our seating, the tables were lamentably unkempt and the chairs possessed an unseemly stickiness.
Upon our venture to procure sustenance, the serving lady exhibited an inexplicable rudeness, verging on excessive sarcasm. We subsequently awaited our repast for a staggering forty-five minutes, only to be disillusioned by the arrival of our fare, which was lamentably tepid. The stuffing within my pork baguette was resolutely CRUNCHY, whilst the gravy was unsightly and utterly unpalatable.
I must add this occurrence transpired in November 2023, thus ample time has elapsed for me to compose this most dreadful review with a semblance of composure.

Read moreI live in Halesowen and shop regularly in the town but rarely eat there so had never visited Jimmy Macks until today. There were 12 of us there from an art class and we enjoyed afternoon tea. There were sandwiches with a selection of fillings my favourites were the tuna and chicken and mayo. The scones were lovely the cream was thick so all good there. The small cake selection was excellent plenty to go round and to take a few away for our folks at home. Very good value and the service was pleasant nothing too much trouble. Visited with my brother,we both chose the roast dinner,he had beef and I had chicken. My chicken was succulent, served with roast potatoes and mash, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, peas, and carrots. I'm not a fan of peas and although I asked for them to be left off , they weren't. Also no broccoli 😕 The gravy is very tasty but a bit dark for a chicken dinner! Good to see they were doing reasonable...
Read moreIf you're over 60 and enjoy bland food with no atmosphere, this is the place for you! First of all there are 3 seats for more than 2 people available and if you push 2 tables together you get absolutely glared at, seating is my first issue here. Secondly, there are no menus on the table? so if you wish to look at the menu you must stand at the counter blocking everyone, for a venue made obviously for older people why would you make people stand for the menu? When our food did come, it was very bland, the chips were rock hard and everything was cold, i was also unfortunate enough to find a hair on my plate. Overall this food place is incredibly overrated, and dull, with mediocre food and drink, if you are planning on going here, i would honestly just bail and go to the...
