Really cute cafe!! I'm beginning to drop down occasionally here with a friend during my college breaks, cakes and drinks beautifully presented with reasonable prices! Unfortunately had one incident of poor service with it taking around 5 minutes for the person serving me to process what I was saying to them and ultimately giving me the wrong order after asking me to repeat myself 3 times and as a result I was also likely overcharged which I will take some responsibility for since I should've spoken up about this but nobody checked that over when I mentioned my order was wrong and there's no clear pricing of the cakes on display which I'd highly recommend if I could make a suggestion. Same waitress also got another customers order wrong along with mine and I'm very disappointed and upset about that, however I will give this place another chance since ultimately my experience was pleasant and my drink and cake was very enjoyable! Not many people come here so it is great for catching up with friends in a calm environment which I highly value as an autistic person! Overall...

Ordered a large latte and a toasted tea cake and toast for my partner. The tea cake arrived first but would not exactly call it toasted. By the time the toast arrived (again not really toasted) I had finished my tea cake and no sign of coffee. Service always seems slow here. I was on my lunch break so we asked for the coffee to be put into a take away cup instead. Staff were happy to oblige but when it was handed over the cup was small. Would be the equivalent to a small take away cup at other coffee shops. Coffee taste nice but was not drinkable for half an hour as was way to hot. Lovely friendly coffee house with good staff, happy to help. We need to support local businesses and keep the high street alive. Worth a visit! Coffee is great too, seating outside for for drop of sunshine...
