Mr Souvlaki - Authentic Greek Cuisine — Restaurant in Dudley

Having married in to a Cypriot family, we are always in search of good honest Greek food. Found it ! This is a no frills, homemade cafe that serves the food you would have had if you were in Greece.

They made fresh every dish, open grill, food that my family discribe as 'just like home' . The cafe has a few tables you can eat inside, where you can enjoy the smell of the cooking as well as the dishes. But I think most of the trade is takeaway. It is open 7 days a week till late, and can be got via Just Eat, or order direct.

We had a mix of dishes, all very tasty and large portions. In fact for £27 for all 4 of us, more food than we can eat, and all spot on for flavour, and quality. Nice staff who will help you through what in each selection if you not sure, will add / delete anything you don't want in it. We went when it was busy and ordered at the counter. They apologised that we would have to wait, but it was only 15 mins. Food packed well and was still hot after 20 min drive home.

Would recommend to anyone who likes good Greek Street food, and will be a regular for is from now on. We'll done...

My mum and I visited for the first time yesterday lunchtime and were immediately made to feel at home! The staff were so lovely and attentive, properly taking time to speak to us and tell us about the restaurant's history, and the food was incredible. We've eaten other greek food locally but we were absolutely blown away by the food at Mr Souvlaki.

We only went in for a light bite to eat, and we were generously given the most gorgeous plate of chips for free to go with our food, and we ended up ordering a pitta wrap to take away for my dad. We loved the friendly atmosphere, and the decor took my mum straight back to being on holiday in Greece.

As someone that has struggled eating in new places/loud environments before, I could not have felt more relaxed and comfortable eating here yesterday. The prices are very cheap given the portion sizes and quality of food, and service was very quick. Thank you Mr Souvlaki for your food and hospitality, we'll definitely be...

If you really fancy proper and authentic Greek grilled food,if you feel nostalgic about the great food you had at your holidays in Greece or if you want to try and taste a different way to eat grilled pork and chicken, then Mr Souvlaki is the place for you. Best pork and chicken Souvlaki in a radius of one God knows how many miles, better than any Greek cuisine premise I have been in Birmingham and cooked the way Greeks in Greece do it. Very succulent, tasty and very well grilled as Greek tradition indicates, rich in oregano and spice. If you like Greek grill then do yourself a favor and try this place. Being Greek myself I can easily tell, that this food is done the way we do it in Greece and I am pretty happy to have this new option in Stourbridge.
