I really like this place. Came for a spot of lunch and had panini and some cake and coffee. It’s a brilliant little local and I always recommend it. I always get great service, great atmosphere, and importantly, great coffee.

Pros; The food is excellent, busy but always friendly atmosphere with happy and friendly staff. Fast service, with a great selection of teas, coffees, smoothies, and soft drinks. Great outdoor and dog friendly seating and covered, heated area. Excellent location for families, dog walkers, and couples.

Cons; Food is quite pricey, but always worth it. Sometimes it can get really busy due to its location, but queues do...

Will never go back there. Was in the queue and a member of staff served the lady behind me first while the lady in front of me wasn't even served yet. The staff had no clue what was in the halloween cupcake. Once we finally had our cakes served, one was given with a fork and the other with a knife. Then once our hot drinks where ready we were not even told they were completed and ready to collect. The coffee I ordered was disgusting: way too hot and didn't tasted like a coffee but more like a brown...

Have a slice of history at this accommodating coffee lounge

If you are new to the area and want a history lesson, there is no better way than with a coffee. Coffee#1 adorns its walls with historic tidbits for the area it’s located in. This unique trait in its coffee shops sets it apart from the lounges and chain stores that are infamously abundant. The coffee is consistent targeted at the masses. Staff are happy and the capacious setting is very comfortable. This is what chain coffee lounges should...

In a town with an abundance of coffee shops this is by far the best. It's always very busy and for good reason. As well as serving great coffee it has a lovely atmosphere that a lot of the high street chains lack. The staff are really nice and and I've made some lovely friends there in the relatively short time I've been going. Well worth popping in solo like myself or catching up with friends😊

Ordered two cheese and ham toasties a pot of tea and an apple juice. The price came to £14.50, which made my eyes water a little. We weren't provided with a folk just a knife. This made the toastie a little difficult to eat. No serviettes provided to clean my grease hands. No cutlery or serviettes on the side either. Food and drinks were nice though. For the price an average experience.
