This is definitely a hidden gem in Stourbridge. The menu was fantastic and inside was like a tardis, didn't realise it was so big!! Very nice setting for a Sunday brunch and the prices were pretty decent. I ordered rhe california brunch which was super tasty and looked prett6 healthy. I also had it with the chorizo which was a nice touch. My partner had the breakfast burger which again looked amazing and was actually really tasty. The place it itself had a nice ambience and they are dog friendly as they have dog bowls and there was a customer with a dog in that they didn't mind. I did see one of the food handler heavily pet the dog though I hope he washed his hands after!! Other than that the menu does look really good and it has a tapas option which all looked really nice so I look forward to trying them next time!!

I had heard about how amazing this place was, and it certainly is well worth making time to visit. From the frontage, it looks like many other café...... but. Once you go through the door WOW. It is huge inside, loads of varied seating and very friendly helpful staff. We went at lunchtime but they are also open in the evening. You order at the bar or the QR code on the table. You just pay as you order either by the app or at the bar. Food is superb, it was served quickly and was absolutely delicious. We both had the Tapas where you each can select three different dishes, so we had six in total. There is a good selection of vegetarian choices on the menu, and the food is so tasty (and filling). A good selection of drinks is available and all clearly shown on the menu. We will be going again in the very near future.

We found Soffio Lounge in Stourbridge through Google and were drawn in by the variety of vegetarian options. The menu and vibe are almost identical to Lupo Lounge in Wolverhampton, which we’re already familiar with. We ordered the tapas, which had a good range of vegetarian choices. The food was okay – nothing mind-blowing, but enjoyable enough. Unfortunately, due to several large groups in at the time, we had a long wait before our food arrived. The staff were polite and handled the busy atmosphere well, but the wait did take away from the experience a little. Overall, it’s a nice spot for casual dining, especially if you're after vegetarian tapas – just be prepared for a bit of a wait during peak times.

I really like Lounges. Whenever I'm out somewhere if there's a Lounge it's where I'll be stopping to eat. When Soffio opened in Stourbridge I was quite excited as its the type of place that can cater for my whole family. Sadly today's visit was lacking on many levels. We'd visited to start my partners birthday with breakfast. Having both been at the gym, we were hungry to say the least. With my son in tow, we ordered a Lounge Breakfast, a veggie breakfast and a vegan breakfast. First thing we noticed were cold mushrooms. We planned to mention this when our server did the 'everything OK with your meal' visit, but they didn't visit again. Being hungry it wasn't enough to make us complain. Things didn't get much better with wet toast all round and everything else luke warm. Expected better but again, we were too hungry to want to stop and chase staff down. It wasn't until we had finished and I was browsing the menu again that I realised that I hadn't had the vegan bacon with my meal. I approached the server who said she'd get me some. They then returned to the table to tell me that there had been some on my plate (there wasn't), did I still want some, and was everything else OK? We told her about everything being cold to which see looked blank. I decided that it was pointless discussing missing and cold food any further as it didn't look like it was registering so we left. Very sad. Not the usual Lounge experience we have come to expect. Shall stick to the Lounges we know and love in Somerset, Kidderminster and Derby.

EDIT, my partner revisited 25th March and ended up with food poisoning after eating a vegan meal. Upon alerting the Lounge she was awarded an apology.

Worst Lounge...

Seems to be going downhill. We arrived at around 1.20, to sit at a table which hadn’t been cleared yet as it was the only one. It took a good 10 minutes of me making eye contact with someone for them to ask me if I was finished with my meal, which I answered that it wasn’t actually mine. Half the table was cleared with the rest left. We ended up moving to a different table and ordered. We waited just under an HOUR for two mains and a side of halloumi fries. The meals aren’t particularly complicated, and despite it being very busy when we first got there, quietened down substantially after the first 20 minutes.

The food was okay, but it didn’t justify the hour long wait. 30 minutes in, a waiter asked how ‘everything’ was (aka 1 drink each) to which we replied we were waiting for our food, and he sheepishly said it would be coming in a second (which it didn’t for another 25 minutes).

We’ve been here many times, and the food, service, wait time is just too inconsistent. Sometimes the portions are half the size of other times we’ve been, sometimes half the menu is sold out. The service leaves a lot to desire, there isn’t much checking in with the meals. Really liked this place when it first opened, but unfortunately won’t be coming back. Reading other reviews of poor food, and even food poisoning, doesn’t fill me with...

Mon 6th June 2022, Never been in before. Just wanted breakfast. (Not necessarily full English), thought we would try it . . wow. What a surprise... Really lovely inside.. service was excellent. Husband John had Shakshuka. A Mediterranean dish, with 2x poached eggs on a lightly spiced tomato & red pepper sauce, roasted aubergine, crispy chickpeas, whipped feta yoghurt, served with toasted ciabatta. (Maybe a bit more ciabatta for mopping up sauce!!) In the words of chef husband, "bloody lovely, really tasty".

I had 2 x beautifully poached eggs, spinach, on toasted muffin. Sprinkled with freshly cracked black pepper. Perfection... Served with lovely Pot of tea. Not a morsel left. Although not the cheapest or dearest place for breakfast in Stourbridge. We noticed NOT a smell of breakfast at all, NO stale smells, you sometimes get with cafe etc.. Everything was spotlessly clean, we sat a way into the room, Decor was brilliant. Comfy sofas as well as table and chairs. I had to use bathroom again spotlessly clean with high quality fittings. But well worth every penny... Will definitely go in again. Thank you everyone there . . . really enjoyed it. BTW well behaved dogs allowed in. and lots of room between tables etc to take huge pushchair...
