Very tasty dishes, generous portion size. This was our first time eating at The Ameena Restaurant and it definitely won’t be the last. Spectacular service from all the staff in there, there was always someone around to make sure that all your needs were met. Genuine staff and managers of this restaurant, a family run business - Humble, warm & welcoming. The food was very fair priced and it was nice quality.

Went for a family meal for my 25th birthday this evening after a recommendation from my uncle. The staff were so friendly and couldn't have been more attentive. They lit my birthday 'cookie' and even brought me over a lil bottle of fizz and birthday card. The food was also faultless, tasted delicious and flavoursome! Thank you all at The Ameena for making my meal so special!!!

Best curry I've had in years! The Keema Naan was superb, stuffed with plenty of meat and the bread fresh and soft. Definitely book as it understandably gets very busy. Staff were excellent too.

Went to the Armeena last night with 3 friends, we booked a table. I have eaten there several times before. Last night was very good. I went outside my comfort zone and ordered a different dish about madras type heat. I was guided in my choices by the new owner who is the old owners son. He was spot on. It sounds like I am a curry novice but I assure you that could not be farther from the truth as I have home cooked curries for 50 years. It is that dishes from different parts of the Indian area can be called racically different names even if they are a bit similar. It was a lovely evening. We assured a group of lads who were there fore the first time, that the food would be good and the would not be disappointed in any way. Well done the staff of Armeena Halesowen, for tasty good food, good supportive service, and just generally looking after us. Pls support this restaurant which has been in Halesowen for many years (I have lived nearby and worked in Halesowen for 35 years). The hospitality sector has had a terrible time during Covid. Pls support local venues and restaurants you like to help...

The Ameena is a great place for a family meal. There is a great selection on the menu , from vibrant curries for acquired tastes to chicken nuggets for fussy children. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and service , although the service may be ever so slightly biased as my family knows some people working there. Kid friendliness is amazing as there are fussy eater options and great desserts for children, such as an ice cream in a friendly bowl with a toy inside. You can always get a seat in here but that isn’t due to quality of the restaurant. Perfect for families that are large or small, perfect for celebrating or not, perfect for on a budget or not. I would recommend this as it is my favourite Indian that I’ve ever been to, although coming here...

Living locally we quite often order take away from this restaurant. On this occasion we decided (as a treat) to eat in. Upon arrival we were asked if we had booked, replying no we were directed to possibly the worst table in the restaurant, it was dark and concealed from the other diners by a large cutlery and storage cupboard. I asked if it was busy as disappointed by the table we had been given, the response was ‘’yes, always’ We arrived at 8pm and stayed for just over an hour or so. Only one other table was allocated to other diners during this time, the restaurant had numerous other tables available. The food was adequate, the service thereafter was also adequate. We left feeling dissatisfied and decided we won’t be frequenting this establishment...
