We were hoping that third time would be the charm with Indian Edge but it really really wasn’t. We reluctantly gave this another chance after a friend had a good eat-in experience. In the past we had found the food bland and watery and this time was sadly no different. We ordered a chicken tikka masala, a garlic chilli chicken, 1 naan, poppadums, 1 saag aloo, 2 portions of onion bhajis and 2 pilau rice and it came to around £48. Firstly, the delivery was quick and the driver was friendly. But this was the only redeeming thing. The bag that the order came in (and the contents) were all coated in oil. Honestly it was not great and made plating up the food very messy. The two curries were awful. The chicken tikka masala might as well have been tomato soup. It had barely any flavour at all. The garlic chilli chicken (hot) was in fact, not hot. Again it was very bland but very oily. The chicken in both of the curries was very dry and you didn’t get much for the price. The onion bhajis and sag aloo were both ok, as was the rice. However, the poppadoms were very stale and chewy and we couldn’t comment on the naan as it was missing from the order. All in all, for what you pay, it was pretty rubbish and we were very disappointed.

We dinned here to celebrate 3 of our team members reaching 10 + years working with us, and it couldn’t have been a better choice! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and thoughtful wig every detail taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and nicely presented. The atmosphere made everyone left with A wonderful evening all around, and we’re already looking forward to our next dinner here.

a culinary delight. a real treat. by far the best curry i have had in ely. we had the chicken tikka masala and the butter paneer masala. both great paired with the chilli garlic rice and a naan. the sauces that come with poppadoms are brilliant also and you get a wide variety. definitely will return! many thanks to all the staff

Heard very good things about this place so was excited to give it a try.

I booked a table for 6 at 7.30pm on their banquet night (Tuesdays) however when we arrived our table wasn't ready so we had to wait 10mins rather awkwardly in the corner by the toilets.

Once seated, our order was taken promptly but we ended up waiting an 1hr 20mins for our starters which I will admit was frustrating. Other tables seemed to be waiting a long time too.

However when the food arrived it was delicious and we all very much enjoyed it.

It's just a shame that the food took so long. It was very busy and the staff were all working hard and constantly moving, so maybe the kitchen was just overwhelmed with orders that night.

The atmosphere was pretty lively due to the small space and every table was full, so I can't say that it was a peaceful, quiet meal! But I do want to give this place a second chance because other than the long wait for food I...

Truthfully the second best Indian food I've had in my life. The starters were massive and despite the kitchen running slow they offered to compensate multiple times for various items which we had to refuse.

They did not ask for or even allow the option to tip on their card machine which was appalling given the quality of the food and the amazing hospitality they showed us.

The meals were fairly priced and they appear to have a full meal and starters for £15 one day of the week and I'm sad I didn't catch it.

The lamb naga was superb and the lamb chop starters were a perfect medium cooked on a bed of onions and were seasoned perfectly, the starters are inexpensive and offer quite large portions.

I am certain I'll eat here again, maybe when it's a little more quiet. Though considering their amazing food I'd be surprised if they didn't get more and more full every...
